God's greatest masterpiece
Ephesians 2:1-20
You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
You are a saved child of God.
Don't just do it formally, but tell the person next to you again, 'You are an evangelist.'
Please give us words that will overflow with grace upon grace, and let us pray and enter into the words.
Most people, when they pray, pray a lot to fill in the parts that they feel are lacking or lacking.
I pray a lot, especially materially and worldly.
We experienced last week that we need to pray on a different level.
God has enabled us to experience the breadth, depth, and height of the gospel.
I hope you will become a covenant person who prays this covenantal prayer.
Today's text from Ephesians 2 talks about the spiritual status we have received from God.
Realizing this spiritual status given to us is extremely important in our life of faith.
If we do not realize how our identity has changed, our life of faith will become a life of constant demand and fulfillment.
I hope that through today’s message, you will come to understand and learn why our status has changed.
I pray in the name of the Lord that you may live the life of faith that God desires, and that you may use the time ahead to do God's good work.
To get to the point, we were dead in the past.
Paul mentioned that our past was dead in trespasses and sins.
Then, shouldn't we know what these faults are and what sin is?
There is a path that God has set. He wants us to walk with Him. God's children want to walk that path with God. However, when we deviate from this path, it is called 'fault'.
Since He gave us life, He promised to walk with us and accompany us on the path to sustain life, but we have strayed from that path, and that is our fault.
Sin is when you miss a set target and miss the target.
When we do something that God has told us not to do, it is called a 'fault', and when we do not do something that God has told us to do, it is called a 'sin'.
We have become human beings who live according to the customs and habits of the world.
But we are people heading toward the kingdom of God.
There are many people who follow the customs and practices of the world rather than the Kingdom of God.
Secondly, there are people who live a life of slavery to the devil.
We have come to live our lives centered on the things of the world and the flesh.
I have become like this after leaving God.
Dear saints, we must live in the Word and in the Holy Spirit.
The same is true today. We need to check whether we are in the Word and whether we are following the Word of Christ.
Please never go back to the past.
I pray to follow the word, but it doesn't go well.
God gives us spiritual strength every week.
Also, the life of faith is so easy. All you have to do is be present in this place of worship.
So, to summarize Ephesians 2:1-3, our past was in sin.
We know we sin, but we do not have the power to overcome it.
No one can be proud of sin.
God gave us the power to overcome sin.
But secondly, God saved us.
We are now living a reborn life, a life of new creation, a life of creation.
It is because of the love that God, who is rich in mercy, gave us that He saved you and me.
I hope you experience God's love.
God's love, a powerful love, never fades.
Because of this great love that He has given you, you can choose everything with love and accomplish everything.
He made us alive with Christ.
But this too shall pass.
We are people who have experienced great love anyway.
Being with Christ, salvation means dying with Jesus and living with Jesus.
So we must not be separated from Jesus and God. We must be completely attached to Him.
God brought us to this place because we stuck together.
There were many things going on at home and on-site, but you were able to lead me to this place.
Although we are not dead yet, he has taken us to heaven.
It signifies the amazing work of Jesus Christ on the cross and the tremendous blessings of His resurrection and ascension.
He wants us to sit next to the throne in heaven.
Who sits before the throne? The heir sits.
You may think this is nothing special. We may not know why God has placed us in the position of heirs of the kingdom of God, even though we are nothing special.
Because we are precious to God.
Heirs, He created us with a completely different status than before. Ephesians 2:8-9.
Salvation is by faith, a gift from God.
It is entirely God's grace.
The important thing is to know how much this great blessing is perceived by us so that we can know whether the rest of our lives are worth living or just average.
Knowing this will change the value of the rest of your life.
A North Korean defector goes to China, endures great hardships, and escapes all sorts of life-threatening crises to reach Vietnam.
After many twists and turns, I finally entered Korea.
In order to settle down in Korea, you will receive a resident registration card from Hanawon to adapt to our country's culture, knowledge, etc.
When he received this resident registration card, this defector said this.
"When I received this resident registration card, I thought back to all the things I had been through. I couldn't sleep all night with this resident registration card by my bedside."
Have any of you ever been happy to receive a resident registration card like this?
I risked my life to come to Korea, and this resident registration card is like a saving grace.
Be thankful for the grace of salvation.
Then, He will always help you grow.
I experienced this grace of salvation in the field.
I have experienced this grace in numerous mission fields.
I kept letting them know that my status was changing.
We must remember today how grateful we are to live in this day and age, to live in this valuable time.
Thirdly, in saving us, God made us His greatest masterpiece.
"You are God's masterpiece."
What the Apostle Paul continues to emphasize is how great the blessings we have received are, and he tells us not to lose that original intention and to live while remembering that excitement.
And, he says that you should not just eat well and live well, but live your life doing good deeds and doing what God wants you to do.
The word 'pohemiya' means 'built'.
The English word poetry comes from this word 'pohemia'.
The word 'Phohemia' is derived from this word in Latin.
You are a masterpiece.
Let's search the Bible together.
It is written in Isaiah 5:1-7: You are the best, the most precious.
I have never owned a luxury item, but they say that a luxury item is something that increases in value when you own it.
You are a luxury item, a masterpiece.
It is a body transfused with the blood of Christ.
There is no one in this world with the same DNA as you.
You are the main characters.
If you are not aware of this, even a single word from another person can be very difficult.
However, if you live with the awareness that you are God's masterpiece, you can overcome all comparisons.
Please do not stay in the life of the introduction, but move towards the direction of the life of the main subject.
The apostle Paul explains why he made us into masterpieces in Ephesians 2:10.
You will be created to do good works of God.
Artists who create art do not create art for no reason.
God has a clear intention for creating us.
The good things that God wants you to do are in your hands.
All will be united in Christ.
We can live a life where all things are united in Christ.
Being unified means becoming a head again.
Before Genesis 3, Christ was the head. But after Genesis 3, we are the center and we are the head.
We must make Jesus Christ the head of our homes, churches, and fields.
We must go everywhere and make Christ the head.
This is our destiny, our mission, our calling.
To summarize it simply, it is evangelism and missions that save 237 countries.
We must accomplish this mission.
The reason God created us as masterpieces is to do good works.
You will come to know your remaining destiny, your calling, and your mission.
Conclusion: There are many people who have lived masterpiece lives. The people in Jesus’ genealogy lived masterpiece lives.
They lived as God's masterpiece.
Like them, I hope you will always remember that you are God's greatest masterpiece and that you will live on as God's work and as an evangelist in this age.
I hope you live your life as a masterpiece, as a luxury item.
Please just believe this. Why don't you have faith? It's because you are caught up in it and there is no reality.
I believe you will receive a response that is befitting the words, “God’s masterpiece,” and “goodness.”
Please pray to God to see if you are being used as a vessel of God.
Your family and friends around you will be able to tell you that they want to be heard like you.
You will ask me to give you the joy and happiness that you feel.
You will be used as a vessel of God.
Many people will be empowered for you.
I hope you live as a vessel of God, not as a vessel of Satan, where the dead come back to life.
I believe in trusting in God's tower.
Grace and glory radiate from you.
What is evangelism? If there is a flower, the bees will naturally go to the flower. The flower has honeycombs. But the fake flower does not have honeycombs.
A person with the gospel makes people stick to him with the fragrance of salvation.
This mission is led by God. All things are within the sovereignty of God.
We just need to be prepared to preach the gospel.
All you have to do is prepare yourself for the life of a masterpiece.
It will let you know what the life of the introduction and the life of the main body are.
I pray that you will be victorious and live a life worthy of a masterpiece.
Thank you, God.
Thank you for saving us, who were by nature children of wrath.
As I look back on my life, please help me to examine myself so that I can become a vessel of God, a tower of God, and a masterpiece, a life as an evangelist who can save many souls and embody the fragrance of the gospel.
In the name of the living Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
