Thanks to all your prayers, I had a safe trip to the Philippines.

This mission field was a place where there was more of God’s future work to be done than what He has done so far, and it was a place of great anticipation.

Pastors must proclaim a powerful message in the field.

I hope that God's wish becomes my wish, and that my faith in God is resolved in grace and becomes a turning point.

I believe that missions are an essential mission for this church.

I want to do small but strong mission work.

I hope we can walk together on this small but strong missionary journey.

What I want to tell you today is that because the mission teams have been doing mission work for a long time and have settled their lives, they carried out their roles well in their respective positions without a single complaint or dissatisfaction.

I experienced that He truly loves our church and blesses the saints.

Upon returning and observing what had happened at the church and in the field, I realized that missions are a comprehensive blessing.

Blessings have come to both my region and the site I left behind.

Going to the mission field does not solve the problem.

Comprehensive blessings descended through the channels of the Word field that were gradually established and through that field.

Let's live a missionary life.

Mission work is bound to receive answers time and time again.

Going forward, our church will embrace not only Cebu missions but also many other mission fields, and you must especially go there in person.

Even if a pastor tells you a hundred times, it is much better to go and see it for yourself.

Two Remnants went this time, and this mission trip will be very memorable for them.

Please give strong support to the next generation.

I keep reading the Book of Acts, and the apostles Peter and John appear frequently.

The meaning of appearing frequently is that there are many works of God done through that person.

An amazing history unfolded where 4,000 and 5,000 people rose up.

There was even a miracle where a lame person stood up.

Jerusalem was being evangelized.

From the field evangelist Billim to the greatest missionary Saul, many works of God came upon us.

Isn't what you did through the previous figure very impactful? It is an incredibly shocking change.

However, the figure we will examine today is someone who remained hidden during those impactful times. That person is Barnabas.

He is a figure who is mentioned as many as 23 times in the Book of Acts.

It is difficult to be mentioned even once in the Bible, so the fact that it has been mentioned so many times means that it holds great significance for us.

This person lived up to their name.

True to his name, he lived a life of spiritual influence.

Our current era is an era that needs comfort.

Did you come to receive comfort?

Please answer.

Isn't that only natural? Shouldn't we be comforted during worship and on Sundays?

They do not want to accept it, saying that comforting their sadness is meaningless.

There are so many hidden pains and wounds.

Then, at some point, it manifests and makes each other struggle.

It can also cause hurt or pain to the family.

So, there are many comforting houses on the market.

There are many comforting books in bookstores.

There are many songs these days that offer comfort.

The songs I listened to in the 90s are also songs of comfort.

This means that this is an era that needs comfort.

Nowadays, with the advancement of artificial intelligence, we live in an era where we converse with machines.

Freely conversing with a robot is called an AI chatbot.

When you talk to people who do not make you uncomfortable, if you share a difficult story, there will be those who accept it and those who feel uncomfortable.

Some people say that AI pours out comfort.

They also say it is a great source of comfort and strength.

It can also be very comforting.

I even became an AI pastor in Germany.

I feel a sense of crisis regarding this profession. An AI pastor preaches, and many people say "Amen."

This is because we receive so much hurt in our relationships with people.

I need true comfort.

Such true comfort is always needed.

If we speak only of the Gospel, there must be true comfort in our church as well.

Gospel-based comfort that saves one another is so important.

We must help each other heal wounds and grow spiritually.

We must ensure that we can stand as people of the Gospel, as people of God.

I pray in the name of the Lord that you will grind your teeth and that the so-called Barnabas ministry will flourish.

True comfort came to Barnabas, just as his name suggests.

Barnabas played an important role in an era.

I hope you first realize that this is truly an era in need of comfort, and that you can be the first to play the role of spiritual Barnabas.

To do so, I believe I must live a life of receiving evangelical comfort, not merely worldly comfort.

Barnabas is of the tribe of Levi.

His original name was Joseph.

The fact that he was given the nickname Barabbas instead of the name Joseph indicates that he faithfully carried out the ministry of protecting and saving many souls while he was by the side of the apostles.

He was a person who could be described as the epitome of comfort.

Barnabas was the exact role model for healing their wounds with God's love.

What was the starting point that enabled Barnabas to do this?

It is none other than the Upper Room of Mark.

In my view, Barnabas was present when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Upper Room of Mark.

I hope that the place where you are will become a place where you experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

Please do not feel burdened before we do anything.

I believe we must return to the starting point, the beginning, of being filled with the Holy Spirit.

After hearing the gospel message proclaimed by Peter, Barnabas came to a conclusion.

The life of faith is not something I walk alone. It is moving forward together with God, aligning our directions.

Do you want to be blessed? It is said that you should meet God and align all your operations with His direction.

I was told to align my direction with what God wants.

God said that it is a blessing for a soul to come in the future.

So, I teamed up with a local pastor, and a venue for the Word movement opened inside City Hall.

For the church to be dynamic and alive, it must continue to say Amen.

If you do not say Amen, it will end late.

Barnabas, the man whose God's wish became his own.

Barnabas is described as a good person, in addition to being full of the Holy Spirit and faith.

If you cannot embrace it, please pray for strength so that you can.

Secondly, Barnabas appointed a man.

There were many difficult conditions for Barnabas and Saul to become a team.

However, in the Book of Acts, it states that Barnabas and Saul worked together as a team.

He testified about his conversion experience, and shared how he believed in Jesus and how he dramatically met God.

He did not teach the things God did through Himself, but showed them as a witness with evidence.

He was recognized by the people of Jerusalem to the extent that they gave him the nickname Barnabas.

Barnabas is the one who raises people up no matter what.

I am a person who raises people up for evangelism and missions.

Just because it is a little different from me does not mean it is unnecessary.

Barnabas appointed a man.

He said that even Saul, who could not go with them, would be welcomed if he were someone who could be with God.

He opened his door so that he could do his ministry.

He became someone who did not give up on Mark and gave him another chance.

How many opportunities has God also given us?

Please give me another chance.

God also waits for us and gives us opportunities.

God is also someone who does not give up until the very end.

You must grow properly within the Gospel.

It is important that he was a person who grew quietly like Barnabas.

So we cannot imagine Saul without Barnabas, and we cannot imagine Mark without Barnabas.

I believe that in this era, we must raise up people like Barnabas.

Please embrace those around you with the eyes of a spiritual Barnabas.

Since it is not I who do it, but God who does it, what do I do? I just need to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is an alternative name for comfort and the Holy Spirit.

Bohyesang and Tteut are similar and share the same etymology.

The expression "comfort of the Holy Spirit"—the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of comfort.

It is because the spirit of comfort fills you.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is being filled with the Word and prayer.

It is like the Word of God standing within me.

All saints, I pray in the name of the Lord that you be filled with the Holy Spirit and become synonymous with comfort.

Lastly, the third point is that the God of comfort is my God.

Praise be to God.

The God we believe in is a God of comfort.

The God of comfort is our God.

It appears in Isaiah 40:1.

Your God said, "Comfort my people." The God of comfort told us to live a life of comfort and to live a life that comforts many people.

I hope you live a life of comfort this week with these words.

I hope you live this kind of life this week.

I hope you become someone who encourages others with the Word of God and saves lives in that way.

Let us become spiritual Barnabas.

Since God is my comforter, I just need to receive comfort from God and move forward as a comforter.

I hope you live the life of an evangelist, fulfilling the mission of the watchtower by leading people back to God.

Thank God.

This is an era that needs spiritual Barnabas.
