When to live with wisdom

Ephesians 5:15-21

"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

"You are the one who remains. It is a joy to be with you."

Today we worship.

Worship is not about pleasing people. The object of worship is God.

It must be a worship that God accepts.

Today, we believe that the heart that sincerely praises God and seeks to receive His word will be accepted.

I have often heard that success in worship is success in life. The reason is that we receive the word from God.

Hearing God's voice means, in a word, realizing God's plan.

Additionally, things that we want to live according to God's will are secured through worship.

Satan is trying to steal our worship time.

In order for you to be successful in worship, you must also be spiritually successful.

There may have been times when you were hurt or sad during the week you lived through. However, you must worship, gain strength, and live another week.

He wants to find answers through worship and the Word.

Please try to understand yourself and the situation. Please try to find God’s will in why this has happened to you and the situation.

Why did this have to happen? You must put everything down today and find the answer through worship.

If you don't find the answer to the question, you can't move on to the next one.

Since we are walking the path of a missionary, in order to handle it, we must obtain answers from the Word for everything that has happened in our daily lives.

God is trying to give you answers and blessings now. He has come here to bless you.

I hope you will hold on to the Word and live a life centered on the Word this week.

We are looking at the words of Ephesians.

We are examining through the word how we who have been saved should live. In today’s text, the words ‘therefore’ and ‘therefore’ appear a lot.

This means that the previous and next content are connected.

As children of God, we are told that we are children of light. Do you remember?

We are like people on the road, walking on the road for the kingdom of God.

So we are children of light who walk in God's path.

If children of light live as children of light, they will bear fruit of light.

A life that bears the fruit of this light is a life like a wilderness.

Today's message is, 'Look around carefully.'

We must be spiritually discerning.

We must see the people of this world as two types of people.

We must discern and divide people into foolish and wise people.

There are also wisdom books in the Bible, such as Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. The Bible also places great importance on wisdom.

The lives of a foolish person and a wise person are polar opposites.

It's like whether it's a blessing or a curse. It's like whether it's a blessing or a curse.

The wise life is a life that follows the light. The foolish life is a life that follows the darkness. Life itself is essentially different.

The problem with Genesis 3 is that it cannot be answered in the world.

The foolish man has the problem of Genesis 3.

But the important thing is that we live with unbelievers.

We must not be swept away by their culture, but rather live a wise life with true wisdom within it.

We must be alert.

It is not for lack of knowledge that one perishes.

This world is rich in knowledge.

Many people are perishing because they do not know the knowledge of God.

In this area, we need to open the spiritual door.

Through today’s message, I hope you will live a true life by realizing what kind of wisdom God wants and what kind of life you must live to live the life of wisdom that God wants.

To get to the point, what is a truly wise life?

We must use the time God has given us wisely.

Time also means 'opportunity' in English.

Depending on how we use this time, we can use it to enjoy God's grace.

Time is something we cannot save or hoard. It flows endlessly.

I hope you use this time given to you wisely.

This opportunity you have given us is so precious.

In Matthew 25, we see three slaves who received five talents, two talents, and one talent.

The slave who had five talents and the slave who had two talents bought the goods for what they had. But the slave who had one talent hid it in the ground and brought it back.

This is like a parable about heaven.

When you truly respond to the important task given to you, you will be entrusted with great work. I hope you will live a wise life, making good use of your time and saving years.

So I want you to ask God, when you have an important mission, how did you receive this mission? Any question is important.

We must also know why. We must know why we should cherish time and use the time and opportunities God has given us well.

You must be able to discern the times and the times.

It's not about discerning age or age group.

There is so much evil in this world. This world is all evil before God.

Homosexuality is rampant these days. What criteria should we use when looking at this? We should look at it with the eyes of wisdom.

This is very important.

We are children who receive the Word of God. When we see what is happening in this world, we must look at the world through the standards of the Bible.

Homosexuality is a sin. It is a slavery to sin.

It is an act that violates the law of creation.

If we look at the world from the perspective of an evangelist before becoming a minister, we can see the way.

As a person with the gospel, when I look at it from the perspective of the Bible, there is clearly a reason for this world.

I hope that the church can fulfill its mission.

You can see that it is for world missions.

We must look at the world with eyes of wisdom like this.

Satan will be at his wit's end at this time.

He said that when the gospel of the kingdom of heaven has been preached throughout the whole world, then the end will come.

So Satan somehow tries to prevent the gospel from being preached in the world.

From God's perspective, God has given us important elements.

I hope that you can enjoy the grace to be able to discern spiritually. You must be able to live a life that is spiritually awake.

You must have spiritual discernment.

How can we have spiritual discernment? We must communicate with God and follow the flow of His Word.

The word of God must be heard by us from the pulpit.

Sunday service is very important. It is the service that tells us how to live during the week.

If God becomes the center of your life, that is the most important key.

We just need to live our lives with our priorities set on prayer, words, evangelism, and missions.

This is how you redeem time, this is how you save years.

This is how we don't miss the opportunities God has given us.

We must live a life where the priorities of our lives are prayer, worship, the word, and the direction of our lives is evangelism and missions.

Secondly, it is important to have an attitude of understanding God's will.

Everyone here must have gone through various hardships.

All of these hardships are opportunities for renewal. They are simply a process of faith growing.

When problems or persecutions come, if we are willing to accept the Lord's will, it can become an opportunity for renewal.

Jesus lived his entire life according to God's will.

We must pray for God's will to be done.

In John 6, he says that his mission is to fulfill God's will.

Even in Matthew 26, when he was bleeding and dying on the cross, Jesus said, “If there is a way to escape, please open a way to escape. However, if this is God’s will, then let it be done according to God’s will.”

But we always want things to go our way, because we think we are the masters of our own lives.

The Lord of our lives is Jesus Christ.

When Jesus becomes the Lord of our lives, this kind of thing doesn't happen.

The apostle Paul, in Romans 12, was able to discern God's will.

This was his will for us in Christ Jesus.

'Rejoice always, be thankful, pray without ceasing.' This is the will of Christ Jesus for us who are in Christ Jesus.

In Christ, in all things, be thankful.

“Accept it, for this is the Lord’s will.”

If you accept this, you will be able to realize the Lord's will within it.

I hope that you can find and live according to the Lord's great will.

How can we find God’s will and understand what it is? Today’s Word is the answer.

Today’s text is verses 18 and 19.

You just need to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

You just need to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit conveys God's will.

You will be able to understand even the deep things of God.

Our lives are no longer meaningless, but become lives used by God.

A while ago, someone gave a testimony about the Word. Before his older brother came to believe in Jesus, he got drunk and started a fight with someone passing by.

But the other person didn't say anything or do anything. The reason was that the other person was a statue.

Then, when I woke up in the morning, I was sleeping in front of the statue.

There was someone who gave this testimony using the fullness of the Holy Spirit as an analogy.

The metaphor of being filled with the Holy Spirit is not being drunk on this wine and doing whatever I want, this is being filled with the Holy Spirit.

When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we will live a wise life.

The Holy Spirit will be with us forever. The Holy Spirit will not leave us even if we do not want to go to church. Once the Holy Spirit is with us, He will be with us forever.

In John 14, He preached about the fullness of the Holy Spirit, saying that He would be with us forever.

The Holy Spirit will guide your life.

The filling of the Holy Spirit is still in progress.

We must pray that we may live with discernment in this evil world.

The Holy Spirit is sure to come out from within your heart.

I hope that all of you who are studying will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you become wise.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit enables you to live a holy life.

If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you can live a life that bears fruit in the Holy Spirit.

When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you gain the ability to be self-controlled.

My son says he can't control his temper the way I want him to.

Please pray for my son and future generations so that they can live a life governed by the Holy Spirit and be self-controlled in the midst of a dark culture.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is being filled with the Word. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is being filled with prayer.

So we must continue to enter into worship.

All you have to do is live a life of praise and evangelism.

This is the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

When we live the life of an evangelist who boldly testifies to the word in the field, we can be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Please build a tower of worship and a tower of prayer within me.

When do you think we are most filled with the Holy Spirit?

I am most filled with the Holy Spirit when the truth, Jesus Christ, is proclaimed with my lips.

Even as Stephen was dying, he was filled with the Holy Spirit as he testified about Jesus Christ.

We are most filled with the Holy Spirit when we enjoy and proclaim Jesus Christ as the Word of Truth.

Looking at verse 19, it emphasizes that we should live a life of praise, responding with psalms and hymns.

Praise to God must come from your heart.

Praise comes from the heart. I realized this today when I heard the choir.

"I hope you create a melody in your heart."

Joy must come out. When praise comes out, a melody is created in your heart.

When you can't sing, please sing more.

Psalm 23 tells us that our God lives in praise.

This is the most Spirit-filled life.

This week's mission is to sing hymns at home.

Let me conclude by saying this. Do not be a fool, but walk in the path of wisdom like a wise person.

As you cherish the time, isn't it God's will and plan, and eternal salvation? Please go all in and focus on this.

I hope you will become a true absolute disciple who will save 237 countries and 5,000 races.

I hope you all live a truly wise life.

I hope you live a life of faith according to God’s will this week.

Thank you, God. Please help me live a true life in Christ.

Please bless all the saints so that those who follow our example can live wise lives.

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
