말씀 녹취록

Blessed are the meek

Matthew 5:1-5

Jesus is the Christ.

God knows your circumstances, your situation, and what is causing you trouble and frustration.

I hope that you will receive comfort and new strength from God through today’s worship and word, and that your illness will be cured.

We are receiving the word of the Eight Beatitudes.

I was given a word about the poor in spirit, which means a spiritual thirst for the grace of God.

The life of the poor in spirit is the life that allows us to experience heaven, and that person can live the life of the sorrowful.

Mourning does not simply refer to physical sorrow, but rather to living with the Lord's tears, a sorrowful heart, and the heart of an evangelist.

In today's message, it says that the meek are blessed.

There are many words in the Bible that are interpreted differently than they say.

The dictionary definition of 'On-yu' is 'warm-hearted'.

It's a word that gives off a feeling of softness and warmth just by hearing it.

The meekness that Jesus speaks of here is not this kind of meekness.

In fact, Jesus is the epitome of gentleness.

Jesus wanted his disciples to become gentle, because he himself had become gentle.

Jesus himself said that he was gentle and humble.

He looked at the Pharisees and said, “You are a brood of vipers.”

Again in the temple, he saw people doing business, and he overturned tables and became angry.

However, the meekness that the Bible speaks of is not the meekness that is spoken of in this world.

Please look at Numbers 12:3.

Moses' meekness was described as the greatest meekness of all people in the world.

Moses threw away ten names, a meekness that cannot be judged by general concepts.

Gentleness in the Bible does not mean having a good personality, being warm, or being eloquent.

I hope that through today's message, you will confirm and realize the spiritual meaning that is different from general concepts and dimensions, such as what the gentleness mentioned in the text is and what it means to give the land as an inheritance.

In Galatians 5:22-23, there are six types of fruit that a person can have.

There are nine kinds of fruit.

Gentleness is a character that the Bible gives because of the fruit of the Bible.

It is a gentle nature given by God.

A person who truly believes in Jesus cannot help but be gentle.

This may seem like a lot, but to understand it, we need to think deeply about three things.

To get to the point, let's realize these three things to understand the spiritual meaning of meekness.

I hope you will realize how to develop a gentle character in living a humble life filled with God's things, and what a gentle character truly is in living with God's things.

First, God’s absolute sovereignty and God’s grace.

If I believe in the absolute sovereignty of God and realize and believe that all of this is God's grace, I cannot help but be meek and humble before God.

Whenever one thinks of salvation, one cannot help but be humble before God.

God rules over this world, ruling it as if it were a living, breathing thing. How can we show off before God?

All of this is by the grace of God.

It is by God’s grace that I believe in Jesus and am saved, that I can worship here, and that I can come before God.

I can't just stick to my own thoughts.

As I look back on the past, I realize that all of this was God's grace.

When I think about God's absolute sovereignty, all of this was God's grace.

My arguments, my thoughts, my conflicts, my regrets, all of these disappeared at some point.

You might think that if I had believed in God a little more, I wouldn't have suffered like this, but if I hadn't lived that way back then, I wouldn't have been able to meet God today.

Did you know that it was all thanks to my wisdom and enlightenment?

Did you know that my personality is so good that it's my patience?

No, it's all God's grace.

But we say that I feel bad now, that I have been hurt, that I have been ignored, that I am not liked.

What is it that you don't like so much?

It seems like we are still living in Genesis 3.

You will come to know that Genesis 3 is still alive.

I am nothing but ashamed before God.

I have nothing but gratitude before God.

How does one live humbly before God? It is created when one believes that it is God’s grace.

I hope this kind of gentle personality is developed.

Secondly, the more we think about the perfect and endless love of Christ who loved us even to the point of death, the more we cannot help but become gentle.

He endured all kinds of contempt and ridicule and wore a crown of thorns.

I got pricked by a thorn a while ago and it hurt so much.

But Jesus came to this earth and endured all kinds of contempt and ridicule, even wearing a crown of thorns, and having his side pierced with a spear so that all his water and blood poured out.

What is man, that Christ died for us?

You are the recipients of this tremendous love, this endless love.

It is not easy to die for a righteous person.

When you and I were criminals, murderers and rapists were sentenced to 20 and 30 years in prison, so how could you possibly serve 20 and 30 years in prison just because you were close to them?

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

God died on the cross for us and was resurrected.

How do I present my arguments and thoughts before God?

I believe that perfect love has come to us.

He died on this earth and did not leave us as spiritual orphans, but solved all our problems.

He said that he would give us a peace that the world cannot know.

He said that the blessings of heavenly background and throne will be with us.

He said, “Do not be afraid, do not be anxious, and do not be worried.”

I encourage you to go home and meditate on John 14.

We are lives that have to be abandoned tens of thousands of times. Can we be clean before God?

We have received unconditional, perfect love.

Please know that it is the endless love, that love, that love of Christ that has allowed you to come to this place.

In this situation, one cannot help but be gentle.

Thirdly, a word about the Spirit of Truth.

Jesus said he is the way, the truth, and the life.

It is life that makes us realize this.

He makes us realize this through His words.

The text for today is called 'praus' in Greek.

The word wild means uncontrolled.

A wild horse must be tamed and controlled by its owner.

This concept has a spiritual application.

The state of completely relying on God and Jesus, the masters of our lives, is called meekness.

A person who puts aside his ambitions, success, motivations, common sense, and pride and lives completely by holding on to the word of God is called a meek person.

When you are captivated by the Word, you cannot help but live meekly.

There is a difference between someone who is captivated by the Word, someone who holds on to the Word, and someone who is held by the Word.

We are of a constitution that must listen to the word of God.

This very moment is the time to create a gentle disposition.

I will continue to hold on to the words and live through the week.

If you keep holding on to the Word, you will go beyond just holding on to the Word and become captivated by the Word.

In Acts 18:5, it is written that Paul was held by the word of God and testified that Jesus is the Christ.

Looking at 1 Thessalonians 2, what kind of word do we receive during worship? We receive the word of God.

The meek are those who come to the court of worship and receive the word of God as the word of God, not as the word of man.

This means that those who hear the word of God as the voice of God and receive it as the complete word of God will have a gentle disposition.

I hope you will receive the word with a truly fearful and trembling heart.

The word of God is alive and active.

You must be able to continue to meditate on those words.

To enter into the meek one, meditation on the Word is necessary.

A person who meditates on the word is meek.

Don't just listen, but make those words your own and take them with you as your witnesses.

We must truly hold on to this eternal and perfect word of Christ and know that this word continues to be fulfilled.

You will be treated with a gentle personality.

Then one day, God's plan will be revealed.

One day, God will show me what He wants for me, for my family, for my church, and for my field.

So this is God's will, and what is it that is realized by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit?

If you continue to meditate on the word, if you listen to this word, it is a life centered only on Jesus Christ.

A person with a gentle personality, a life that is imprinted, rooted, and constitutional.

Living a life with a gentle disposition is all about dealing with problems.

If I have lived by my own thoughts until now, from now on I will live by the Word.

Everyone, look at the person next to you and think that they are better than you.

You keep saying you are gentle, but this is different from the general concept.

I'm not talking about a gentle temperament in the general sense.

This is not a fabricated character created by humans, but a character created by the Holy Spirit.

Everything is in God's hands, and meekness makes a person humble.

If you believe this, I cannot develop my argument. My argument is made automatically.

How do we do evangelism and world movement when each church is asserting its own claims?

That's why a gentle disposition is so important.

Without this gentle disposition, the Korean church is full of conflict.

However, our church is becoming a church that can embrace all saints.

Aren't you grateful?

Believe in the absolute sovereignty of God and become a person who truly believes in God.

We must do evangelism.

In Christ, I believe we must believe in a gentle disposition.

I hope you think of others, the saints next to you, as better than yourself, and love and understand them.

Without the people next to us, we cannot do missionary work and world evangelization.

In conclusion.

The meaning of acquiring land as a business is that the field comes alive, the family comes alive, and the workplace comes alive.

I hope that with this gentle nature, you can revive the church, the region, and the field.

Please look at Psalm 37:11.

It is said that the meek have abundant peace.

It means that your life will become a peaceful life.

Then, when I live a peaceful life, other people will see that peaceful life.

If you do that, someone else will join you.

I hope you live a life of true happiness.

Thank you, God.

I have been endowed with the character of a gentle person.

Please grant all the saints a gentle disposition.

Please let me become a person who is tamed by the word of God and captivated by the word of God.

Please help me live the life of a true evangelist.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
