Blessed are those who mourn
Matthew 5:4
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
God is with us through the Holy Spirit.
You are an evangelist.
You are the remnant.
The world says that those who laugh are blessed.
We used to sing this song a lot in the past: "If you smile, good luck will come."
Even if there isn't much to laugh about, there will always be something to laugh about.
In the past, many religions preached to laugh and be happy to our hearts' content.
As I spoke such words, I became spiritually ignorant and in a bad spiritual state.
Even today, there are people who preach like this.
Some people think that the church will be saved only if people are funny.
But in today's text, it says that blessed are those who weep.
It's the opposite of the world.
The world says that if you laugh, you will be blessed, but the Bible says to cry. The Bible says that crying is a blessing.
It is not said that Jesus laughed, but it is written that he cried.
The crying we are talking about here is not sadness.
It refers to a pain so great that it breaks your heart.
It speaks of the sorrow and pain that brings tears to your eyes.
Blessed is he who does so.
What is the reason?
The sorrow spoken of in today’s text is on a different level from the sorrow of the world.
It is not the sorrow that people of the world laugh or cry over because of what they see, but a spiritual sorrow.
So, it's a whole other level of story.
Spiritual sorrow is a blessing.
This may sound like a heavy story, but it's not at all.
You must know that sorrow is a blessing.
Grief is a blessing.
You have to feel that way to be an evangelist.
If you are truly a saved saint, sorrow will come to you as a blessing.
It tells of Jesus talking to a large crowd and his disciples.
Some people say they have achieved great success, while others say they keep the word and the law well.
They did not come before the Lord.
Those who come before the Lord are those who are spiritually thirsty and poor in spirit.
Today's message is along these same lines.
Grief isn't just feeling sad because it's hard.
Please remember these three sorrows this week, keep thinking about them, and enter into them.
First, it is the blessing of sorrow that is needed for those who have turned away from God.
Let's say your child goes to middle school.
I met a scammer on my way to school. What would happen to the child who followed the scammer?
What will the future hold for that child?
It is natural for a child who follows a con artist to be lonely.
It is natural for a child who leaves his parents to be lonely.
However, being lonely can also be a blessing.
It is natural to want to go back. It is natural for a child who has left his parents to want to go back.
Also, if the child says that he or she really liked the food the scammer gave him or the clothes the scammer bought him, that is wrong.
For those who have left God, loneliness, hardship, problems and incidents are blessings and blessings.
Because only then can we return to God.
Because only then can we meet Christ.
The first blessing of sorrow is the blessing of sorrow for those who have turned away from God.
There is a program that I watch often.
They say that Mr. Kim Chang-ok heals people by giving them warm words and giving them answers in his own way.
It makes me feel good and happy to see things like that.
But the warm comfort of man cannot revive our spirits that have departed from God.
The hellish fate background cannot be saved.
We need human comfort, but we also need God's true comfort.
Blessed are those who mourn, for God will comfort them.
The comfort that God gave us was that he sent Christ.
The words “bear with it,” “endure,” and “hold on” are not comforting.
The blessing of Emmanuel sent by God is the greatest comfort to us.
In John 14, the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, appears.
The comfort we are talking about here is not the comfort given by people, but the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
The comfort of the world is temporary, but the comfort that God gives is eternal.
God sent his son to this earth.
In order to taste the true comfort of God, the unbeliever must fail or perish.
It is impossible to believe that there is still hope for oneself.
I am hopeless, and God gives me the hope He has prepared for me.
In that state of despair, we meet Christ. That is why we say it is a blessing and a blessing.
Although failure itself is not a blessing, it is someone we must meet even if we have to fail.
I believe that this is a problem that only Christ can solve, a blessing of sorrow that is close to a cry.
It is an eternal blessing and blessing.
We get strength from here, but we have to see the dying outside.
When we see people suffering from spiritual problems, we must recover the Lord's sorrow and tears.
I am suffering from spiritual problems.
I saw the news recently.
A dog bit a child who was abandoned in a trash can and carried him to a person.
I don't know if people are lower level than dogs or if dogs are higher level, but life, home, illness, everything in this world is falling apart.
The second is the sorrow that believers need.
We need sorrow too.
Have you ever lived a life of faith and religion without knowing the true gospel and Christ?
At that time, I saw that He would be with me forever through these words, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'
God has taken care of all our past, present, and future problems.
Doesn't that give you great faith and confidence?
Because the believer has missed the sorrow for himself.
There must be sorrow for me.
Do you have any sorrow for them?
Do you have a firm belief in the gospel?
I believe that we must hold on to the accurate gospel.
I believe that I will have to mourn until the day I die.
You must mourn until the end.
It is not that we become righteous because God declares us righteous.
Our state is still that of sinners.
It's not like we keep pushing people away as sinners.
Paul said, "I am less than the least of the least; I am a prisoner among prisoners."
I said that I was continually being dragged into the law of sin.
We have received complete salvation with eternal blessings.
My spiritual state is still that of a sinner.
We still need God's grace.
Never for a moment lose sight of the fact that without God there is no hope.
I hope you feel sorry for me.
We still need the gospel today.
Are your sins not revealed to you?
Are you perfect?
I am exposed to my sins.
We commit many sins in our thoughts, words and actions.
We may seem saved, but sin continues to creep into us.
Although I said I believed in Jesus, I didn't know that I was a legalistic person.
Please look at 1 John 1:8.
To say that you are without sin is a lie.
We are saved, but that doesn't mean we don't sin.
So today we come before God, holding on to the covenant of Christ.
Once again, become poor in spirit and seek the grace of God.
Please pray for me today to receive new grace.
You must realize that without the grace of God you can do nothing.
May God work in our homes and churches.
I believe that we must have trust in God and sorrow for ourselves at the same time.
People like to be where there is laughter.
People look for things that make them laugh.
How happy and joyful do you feel when someone smiles next to you?
Tears save the times.
They say that where there is only sunlight, there is only death.
It should rain.
These days, the tears are disappearing.
Please hold on to your cross and come before the Lord with a sorrowful heart.
This is the sorrow given to the believer.
This is a sorrow that comes from the conviction that it cannot be done without the grace of God.
This weakness, frailty, and incompetence, the disciples also continue to deny the Lord, do not hold on to the Word, fall into spiritual sleep, and perish from the attacks of Satan.
I hope that you will continue to enter into the root of the gospel, spiritual battle, the life of an evangelist, renewal, and the word of God today and feel God’s presence and sorrow.
Thirdly, it is a sorrow for the church.
There is a scene where Jesus cries in the temple in Jerusalem.
I hope that these tears of the Lord will heal your heart.
Violence and suicide are on the rise because churches that should be spreading the gospel are failing to do so.
Doesn't that make you want to love eternity?
I believe that where sorrow has disappeared, we should shed tears with the heart of an evangelist.
A person without sorrow cannot live in this world.
They say they will save the world and save the church, but what can they do if there is no sorrow?
If a person does not feel sorrow when he sees the next generation wavering, he cannot be an evangelist.
Our descendants will follow us, eating the tears of our prayers.
The prayers and tears of many elders and evangelists have allowed the Korean church to grow to this point.
I know that those tears of prayer are never in vain.
Now, we too, go out to the field and hope that the holy tears of sorrow will be restored.
Satan tries to destroy the church whenever he gets a chance.
Korea is in crisis. They are persecuting the gathering of churches, and when they do gather, the Holy Spirit does not come.
When we gather, the work of the Holy Spirit takes place.
The church will disappear when people leave one by one.
The fire of the Holy Spirit goes out.
The church is a place to gather.
You have to realize this.
Then the Holy Spirit works.
When we gather, the Holy Spirit works.
The devil prevents us from doing evangelism and missionary work.
The essence of the church is to simply do a good job of evangelizing and missionary work.
Is this a cruise ship where we can have fun among ourselves?
Or is it a warship engaged in spiritual warfare?
The church is a battleship.
Yesterday, I went to a family's wedding room and gave a speech.
Who these days would practice their faith in a small church?
I wonder if our church members are blind and why they are still attached to our church.
But our church only speaks the gospel.
Just stick with it,
As long as a branch remains attached to a vine, it will bear fruit.
As long as it sticks well, it's fine.
In conclusion.
I believe that we must become believers who have sorrow for the field and sorrow for ourselves.
We must become believers who have sorrow for the church.
Please allow a history of healing and restoration to occur.
The more you persecute, the more you must realize that there are clear disciples and that there is goodness in God.
I believe that the saints should wake up and pray with tears.
In the name of the Lord, I bless you that there is a history of true sorrow in your home and family.
I believe that God's comfort will bless our congregation.
You are a blessed person.
Isn't there sorrow that is God's will?
Are you not receiving comfort from God?
Isn't heaven yours?
Don't you have a thirst for God?
I hope you feel sorrow for God and the country.
Thank you, God.
He said that blessed are those who mourn.
He said it was thanks to God's comfort.
Please let it become a prayer of sorrow that prays for children, prays for the church, prays for the people, prays for the nation, and prays for future generations.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
