말씀 녹취록

The Gospel will surely save you.

Acts 8:4-8

The message we will examine today is the message that the Word comes to Saramia and to the ends of the earth.

Likewise, when a response or work comes upon us, we sometimes miss the covenant of Acts 1:8.

As countless saints arose in the early church, it was overwhelming to shepherd them and relieve their fatigue.

However, the God we believe in and God's interest are not limited to Jerusalem alone.

This gospel is being spread beyond Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, including Samaria.

Our God does not like people building their own fences and staying inside them.

This covenant that we believe in must continue to spread.

This gospel must not remain in one place, but must continue to spread.

The blessings and feelings resulting from the spread of the Gospel are tremendous.

I hope you all fully enjoy the benefits resulting from the spread of this gospel.

I hope you will be used as a valuable asset in spreading the Gospel.

Along with Stephen, a pair of key officials of the early church appear.

It is Philip.

Philip not only handled church administration alongside Stephen but was also a key field leader in charge of the field.

We hope that Stephen and his true covenant will continue to prevail while we are serving as church leaders.

And the amazing work of God that came upon the ministry of the two people becomes a wonder and a sign.

You can see that being with God works in the same way.

It means that He does not look at a person's character, but rather whether they are interested in the Gospel.

The same is true today.

If you have the Gospel, I believe that He will always be present in your footsteps, just as He was present with Stephen and Philip.

If Stephen was the fuse that sparked the spread of the gospel, Philip was the one who lit that fuse.

Above all, just like the scripture for today, I received an answer that came alive in that very place.

The Gospel will surely save lives.

The Gospel will surely save lives.

Through today's message, I hope you will live as a spiritual disciple of Christ, like Stephen and Philip.

Philip was an evangelist.

Please look at Acts 8:4.

There was a great persecution triggered by the martyrdom of Stephen.

However, something strange happened.

If they scattered, it means they ran away, and if they ran away, shouldn't they be hiding?

If problems and persecution come, won't you hide?

However, he conveyed the resurrection and the evidence that Jesus Christ is coming.

Even amidst their scattering, they proclaimed the covenant of Acts chapter 1.

In any situation, if you hold onto the covenant of Acts 1:8, it will work out.

What does this mean?

When circumstances do not go according to our will, we must enter even more deeply into God's plan.

In other words, it means to view every event, problem, and environment as a door for evangelism.

With what eyes are you looking?

If you look at every event and scene through the eyes of evangelism, you will see God's timetable.

Everyone, many things happen in our lives whether we want them or not.

We enjoy many things within the reality of the life given to us.

There may be people who ask what evangelism and mission work have to do with our lives.

I hope you discover the meaning of evangelism and missions, whether you wanted to or not.

The fact that Philip went to the city of Saramia is a miracle.

Samaria, which was the capital of Northern Israel, has suffered from deep conflict since Israel was divided into North and South.

This city of Samaria is also deep in faith.

The policy implemented by Assur at that time was interbreeding.

Just as is the case today, there is a culture of implanting the culture or policies of the invading country into the colony during times of war or invasion.

In today's terms, it means there are many TCKs and people of diverse ethnicities.

At that time, such people were objects of contempt.

It is a tremendous thing that Philip, of pure Jewish blood, entered such a place.

Then, when passing Jerusalem from the south, they could have gone much faster by passing through Samaria, but they did not.

We can see that Philip held onto the covenant of Mount Calvary that Jesus is the Christ, and that the covenant of the Mount of Olives and the covenant of the Upper Room, which grasped the expansion of the Kingdom of God, were firmly imprinted upon him.

If this is imprinted upon you as well, you must come to know that you will boldly witness to this gospel in any setting.

Is this Philip's power?

It is not Philip's power, but the power of Jesus Christ.

What can we verify here?

You just need to use the ability of that name.

An amazing change took place at that site. Please look at Acts 8:8.

Great joy came to the place where the gospel of Jesus Christ was preached.

The fact that great joy has come means that the power of darkness, which held them captive and dragged them to destruction, has collapsed.

I hope that such joy continues to be experienced in our lives.

Many people think of the Gospel as mere information.

Information means information.

Is the Gospel at that level?

You have misunderstood the Gospel quite a bit.

The Gospel does not simply convey biblical information.

The Gospel changes everything.

All saints, please do not limit the Gospel to the level of information, but view it as a transformation.

When this happens, the Gospel is bound to save everyone.

The Gospel will surely save lives.

You must enjoy everything so that every area of your life—your personal life, home, job, and workplace—becomes a place of great joy.

I hope you always listen to God's word and receive guidance.

This Philip followed the voice.

There, you meet the Ethiopian queen's eunuch.

I was on my way back after meeting someone here.

I was reading the story of the prophet Isaiah.

It seems this person has had a religious journey to some extent. What is important is that they cast all those things aside to come and worship.

Philip asked Jang, who was reading the Bible. He wondered if he was reading it with an accurate understanding of its meaning.

When looking at the Bible, it is important whether it refers to oneself or to others.

This is the part the eunuch just read.

Looking at verse 34, the eunuch's curiosity was precisely who he was.

How curious you must have been!

He wanted to know the Gospel and believe in Jesus properly, so how curious must he have been?

In response to the eunuch's question, he proclaimed, "He is Jesus, who died and rose again after taking care of all our sins."

He is the one who bore all the sins of our lives on our behalf and freed us from the curse of Genesis chapter 3.

In short, it is a continuous summary of the spiritual message.

In today's text, verse 37 appears as if there is no word, but some manuscripts show it differently.

Everyone, whether there is content or not, if you look at verses 38 and 39, the eunuch, who was a thirsty religious man, heard the accurate gospel through Philip and was able to turn his heart around.

To what extent is the Gospel to you?

I believe that everything you have eaten throughout your life will go down.

When the gospel came to the city of Samaria, joy came into it.

Philip, who preached the gospel, also gained strength.

If you convey it, it will come back to life.

If you tell them, they will all come back to life.

You just need to pass it on.

Through today's text, we can see that Philip fulfilled the role of a missionary.

There are also many foreigners in the country.

God now commands us to do missionary work within our country.

God continues to allow us to meet people like this.

If it were me, I would want to continue working as a partner with our church's interpreter.

I realized that I need to raise spiritual interpreters like our Deacon and Spiritual Deacon.

Right now, he is just my son, but it seems he knows what kind of person his dad is.

I believe we must raise the Remnants to become future missionary interpreters. That is exactly how I will raise Chan-woong and Ji-won.

I believe that there are those who are faithful to them and those who are prepared.

This site is a golden fishing ground, but if we are not careful, it can become a disaster zone or a desert.

Going forward, missions must proceed on two tracks.

It is domestic missions and multi-ethnic missions.

May you enjoy the blessing of missions so that you may enjoy Christ.

This is the conclusion.

To do so, it is important where our gaze is directed.

Genesis Chapter 3: I hope you will break away from the center of "mine" and "my success."

Philip was originally a person who could not go to Samaria.

So, Philip was a spiritually sensitive person.

Before God, I broke all the stereotypes, prejudices, and frameworks of that time.

I pray in the name of the Lord that at this time today, all the old frameworks of Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11 will be completely broken.

If you look at Acts chapter 1, people mentioned Philip the evangelist.

You are Philip the evangelist.

The evangelist is the greatest spiritual emperor.

All saints, I hope you enjoy the blessings of the evangelist for yourselves and your families.

Thank God.

The Gospel will surely save lives.

The important thing is that we must go to the site.

It is that the framework of Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11 is being broken.

Our gaze, the eyes of the Gospel, and the eyes of evangelism must be directed toward the field.

At that time, please let the Gospel come to every place we enter and let the true covenant be established.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
