Blessed are the poor in spirit
Matthew 5:1-3
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
He is with me and with you.
The passage we will look at from today is the Gospel of Matthew.
The words he taught directly to his disciples are recorded.
In the mountains, words like jewels and gratitude are written.
He emphasized the importance of this message to us who live a spiritual life.
Through these words, I hope you will experience these precious, jewel-like words in a realistic way and make them your own.
Today's message is about happiness.
Palbok means eight blessings.
When he saw the crowds, his disciples came out. This is the message of today's text.
When he saw the crowds, he said to his disciples:
Through these words, Jesus tells us how we can live a life of true happiness.
The answer to this question is contained in the Beatitudes.
In fact, you have to keep changing as you receive the word.
It is essential to take time to listen and change.
Need to renew.
I actually hear this a lot, telling me to change.
There is much that needs to be renewed before the Word.
Because the Word is a spiritual mirror that reflects me.
We need to keep checking and changing.
I hope that the words Jesus showed you will be imprinted, rooted, and formed in you so that you can live as citizens of heaven.
This is God's wish.
The eight blessings have such a profound meaning that it is difficult to explain them all at once.
Let's take a deeper look at each of the eight blessings each week.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they will be saved.
Conversely, it means that if you are not poor in spirit, you will not be blessed.
You have to look at things the opposite way the world looks at them.
Only by looking at it the other way around can we properly understand this statement.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they will be in the kingdom of heaven.
What blessings are there for you?
It is necessary to define the concept of blessing.
I believe that the concept of happiness will change.
We need to get things straight about blessings.
Many people are interested in fortune.
Koreans are very sensitive about fortune.
The Chinese character for blessing is pasted here and there.
They also put Chinese characters for good fortune on pillows, spoons, and even cushions and rice bowls.
In some places, they draw the Chinese character for good fortune upside down in hopes that good fortune will pour down.
These are people who will do anything to be blessed.
Also, when preaching, we preach that if you believe in Jesus, you will be blessed.
However, the most important thing here is to know what the Bible says about blessings.
You are children of God and evangelists living a spiritual life.
That is why we must receive and enjoy the proper blessings.
I hope you find and enjoy true blessings and true happiness.
We need to know what spiritual blessings are in our relationship with God.
We are his sons. God is our Father.
Isn't the relationship between father and son important?
We should not think of blessings as things we gain, things we possess, or the fulfillment of our wishes.
It is very important to change this.
These things may bring joy or pleasure, but they are not true happiness.
True happiness is the happiness that comes from my relationship with God.
I hope you live the life of an evangelist who receives spiritual blessings.
Now, let's get to the point. What kind of person is poor in spirit?
This is something we need to think deeply about.

First of all, in Hebrew, being poor means being weak and feeble.
It means being poor in spirit.
The meaning of being 'poor' is that you are a helpless being who has no choice but to believe in God.
It is poor in spirit to realize that it is human beings who are destined for eternal destruction.
It also means becoming a beggar.
It also means that you need help from others because you cannot be independent on your own.
It also means a person who has nothing.
It also means a person who believes only in God because there is nothing else to believe in.
That is, the poor in spirit are those who look only to God.
The poor in spirit are those who desperately seek God's grace.
This refers to a person who comes before God completely spiritually destroyed.
Didn't you come here to rely on God?
Don't think that praying once will get you through.
We must get to a state where we must continue to pray and worship.
A state of spiritual poverty is a state where one cannot live without God's protection, guarding, and guidance 24 hours a day, while breathing.
Simply put, it is to continue to seek God's grace.
It is a constant thirst for spiritual things.
It's like a person drowning in water calling for help.
No matter how good the bread, food, or meat is given to a thirsty person, he or she will not eat it.
They need water.
We need Jesus Christ, the water of eternal life.
There is nothing that can solve the problems and spiritual hunger of the Korean people in the Korean church.
The best thing you have done in your life is to come to our church. There will be no problem because we will only go towards the gospel.
He will make our descendants disciples and give them a perspective of 10 to 20 years ahead.
We must truly seek the grace of God. Those who are poor in spirit are to look to Jesus Christ.
The core of God's grace is Jesus Christ.
I must remember that He redeemed me on the cross, He is my Christ.
The gates of heaven are opened to the one who solves all the problems of life.
They say that person is blessed.
It is a blessing to live looking at Jesus Christ and looking at the people of heaven.
The president, CEOs of large corporations, and celebrities are not allowed to come here.
The Pharisees, who thought they were pious, had no need for Jesus.
No matter how devoutly I lived, I had no need for Jesus.
He was a man who only kept the law and only kept the Bible well.
Let’s take a look at Matthew 4:24.
Who came? A thirsty person came to Jesus.
A person who could only be Jesus came before Jesus.
Only those who are as desperate as they are and who need God have come.
This can't go on like this.
It has to be a beginner's level.
We need to go back to the moment we were first welcomed.
If we had been welcomed yesterday, how moving would this service be today?
We must welcome you every day
Rather, it was those who were in desperate need of healing who sought Jesus.
The greatest blessing that humans have received since they were born is the coming of Jesus.
It is the greatest blessing that God is the master of my life and rules over my life.
It is a blessing to come before God when a big problem arises.
If it weren't for that past, I wouldn't have met Jesus.
It is important to maintain a poor state of mind
The thirst for the Word must be maintained.
Even if you worship through the Internet, you are poor in spirit.
We need to express our love for him.
The characteristic of Korean men is that they only love inwardly
But women want to express themselves.
Please don't just think about it inside, but express it outwardly.
Worship is an expression of God's love.
May your life be eternal to God.
In Him 24, in Christ 24, we must be happy.
Please pray for worship and pray for the servants of the Lord.
I need to make a note of how I can be comforted and express my gratitude to God.
We must hold on to those words and be filled with gratitude and emotion for salvation and true joy.
I have to go all-in on this for the rest of my life.
You must become a person with this kind of spiritual state.
In fact, it is not blessed to be poor in spirit, but blessed is the kingdom of heaven.
Of course, being poor in spirit can be a blessing, but heaven is a greater blessing.
Please look at Matthew 4:17.
The first thing he said when he opened his mouth was that the kingdom of heaven was near.
The secret of eternal heaven, in a larger sense, means salvation.
In other words, becoming a citizen of heaven is salvation.
It means that by believing in Christ, you have received the blessings of heaven.
The one who goes to heaven first will consider it a blessing.
Anyone who has actually been to heaven will think that heaven is a blessing.
I hope you don't envy the things of other people too much.
The kingdom of God is said to be the throne where God is, but it means that the kingdom of God has come within us, within our souls, and has come within me.
That's heaven.
Everywhere you go is heaven.
The place where you, the citizens of heaven, go is heaven.
For the kingdom of God to come, the kingdom of God must come wherever it may be.
The Kingdom of God must come to economic and family issues as well.
I have a problem, but I am happy.
My circumstances are the same, but I am happy. That is the coming of the kingdom of God.
When the kingdom of God comes, the host of angels will come.
Your life will become peaceful, and you will become a person who brings peace to everything.
In conclusion.
We are people who seek God’s grace every day and are healed by God’s words.
That person is poor in spirit.
We must become people who seek God's grace.
The remnants must come to desire the grace of God.
Every time we worship, we must worship with a thirsty heart.
I believe that all the remnants and saints who come in the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday era will have a taste of heaven.
We need to find out how we can find God and worship Him.
The American church is full of old people with white hair. There are no young people.
We need to change the praise culture every Friday and make it a praise culture festival.
I believe that we must pray with tears and pass those tears on to future generations.
I believe that these words and prayers must be experienced.
Once you taste heaven, it's over.
