Blessed are the pure in heart
Matthew 5:1-8
You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
You are the remnant, you are the evangelist.
It's a joy to be together.
The flow of the message now explains how the people of heaven should live on this earth.
Jesus told us how the saved children of God should live their lives of faith.
Many people think that blessed people, happy people, and fortune are things that bring them happiness.
What is happiness? People in the world say that you have to own something to be happy.
The Bible speaks of absolute happiness, not relative happiness.
The Beatitudes tell us who will be blessed.
First, blessed are the poor in spirit.
Only when my soul is thirsty will I be blessed.
These are people who thirst for the Spirit of God.
Secondly, blessed are those who mourn.
It speaks of sorrow for myself, sorrow for having been a sinner.
It also means sorrow for the church and sorrow for those who are dying.
Why are such people blessed? Because they receive God's grace.
Thirdly, it says that the meek will be blessed.
No one else should be the one to rely on. God alone should be the one to rely on.
We must conquer the field and be used for the work of God's kingdom.
Getting married, getting a good job, going to school, moving, all of this is for the purpose of serving God.
Fourthly, those who always desire are blessed.
It has to be the gospel
So, we must become people who hunger for righteousness and desire blessings.
Last week we talked about blessed are the merciful.
I want you to see everyone through the eyes of the gospel.
You will receive mercy from God and from other people.
One day that mercy will return to you.
Today, blessed are the pure in heart.
The mind is the center of personality.
God does not look at our outward appearances, but at our inward hearts.
It's not about being clean on the outside, but being clean on the inside.
I hope that you will become people with pure hearts who see and experience God every day.
Getting to the point, what does it mean to see God?
Did anyone see God in their dreams last night?
Only Jesus cannot see heaven. We cannot see God with our physical eyes.
Only Jesus can see heaven. We cannot see God with our physical eyes.
This does not mean that we see and experience God with our five senses.
Because God is spirit.
I do not see God in that sense.
It is something you experience with your heart.
God has been with me in my life.
You should always keep this in mind.
To feel the presence of God, to feel that God and I are together, is to see God.
I used to want to see God.
I've always thought it would be nice to be able to see and feel God with my five senses.
Then, through problems and events, I began to hear the voice of God.
Those who cursed themselves with curses and accusations heard the voice of God.
David too
A person who is full of his own righteousness cannot hear God's voice even in praise.
When you realize God's will, you may feel like you have seen God.
Are you like that too?
How do we see God with our physical eyes?
When I face problems and events, I can see God through His voice.
I thought that difficulties had come to me and the church, but it was important when I realized that everything was God's will.
Experiencing God's will and plan in this way is seeing God.
When you hear God's voice, you will be able to know God's will.
I come to know what God's will and plan is for me.
The fragrance of Jesus Christ appeared to me, and Christ truly came to me who had suffered from illness.
When everything is restored and God's work comes into our lives, this is what it means to see God.
Wherever I go, God is present. It's as if I have seen God.
God, do you see me well? Where is God?
Living while looking to God is a great blessing.
The Holy Trinity is always with me.
You can rise up from any despair.
No matter what difficulties or circumstances you face, you can find strength and get back up again.
The Holy Spirit is the one who came to the attic.
A life that sees God is a very blessed life.
Secondly, to see God with the heart, the heart must be pure. What does it mean to have a pure heart?
There are so many things wrong with my mind, things different, my claims and intentions, my desires and successes.
Do you know the song called "The Thorn Tree"?
The person who wrote that song is Christian.
I died and Christ lived again in me. The problem is that there is too much of me in me.
So God is not visible.
The Last Supper was held on the night Jesus was arrested.
The disciples were fighting over who was greater.
How are you feeling?
It doesn't mean you have to be kind and gentle.
When you are full of motivation, God is revealed.
What motivates you to believe in God and Jesus?
Why do you work, study, and live so hard?
When you are full of motivation, God becomes invisible.
You need to know why you have to walk that path and why you need to prepare for it.
The same goes for evangelism. Why do we evangelize and do world missions?
To promote our church? Motive is important.
Dying souls, poor souls, we must go with a heart that loves souls.
Without the gospel there is no hope.
When you truly see God, if the motive of our church is only the gospel, God will be seen in every mission field you do.
I believe that I will see God.
You will truly see God.
There are those who heard God's voice and took on a mission.
This person met God personally.
Please check it yourself.
I need to know what my motive is for believing in God.
God, whom I only knew intellectually, has become the master of my life.
I am welcomed as the master of my life.
The life of one who truly experiences the presence of God will be filled with peace and joy.
I bless you to live a life as an evangelist with true peace and joy, with the assurance that you are a child of God.
Please let our descendants experience the future generations.
How is this pure heart created?
Jehovah was with Moses. Moses' journey was not just about seeing God, but God's presence was fully present.
No matter what the situation, no matter what the conditions, God's voice will be heard.
Please let me live the rest of my life as an evangelist.
King Saul did not see God.
In his heart he always had the intention of killing David.
The moment you become jealous of others, you cannot see God.
While David was out in the fields, he wrote Psalms praising God.
I was moved by the Spirit of God. It depends on who is praising and who is playing.
After defeating Goliath, I felt a sense of inadequacy later.
He took her as his wife and repented before God through the man.
Renew a righteous heart within me.
From then on, David's life became one that influenced many future generations.
Why is my heart so selfish? Why do I hate so much? Don't you think only of yourself?
Aren't my greed too big?
God's grace and love are sufficient, so why are we so greedy?
If we just have to be filled with the gospel and live the life of an evangelist, why do we strive to have something?
Please check it yourself.
Bottom line: Why are you here?
If your motives are aligned with God, you will be blessed.
Why do we work so hard in evangelism and missions?
If the motive is in line with God, and if there is a pure heart, it will become a blessing that can receive blessings from God.
Only because of Christ, without the gospel, there is no hope.
We really need to do world missions.
Shouldn't we really save future generations?
If what we do becomes a camp before God, the history of seeing God will come to your site.
Give me a pure heart and spirit.
Pour out your pure heart upon me.
Please grant me a heart that loves souls and wants to live as an evangelist.
What must I do to see God?
You must believe that Jesus is Christ and repent to receive forgiveness of sins.
We must rely on the grace of the cross every day and go before God every day.
It doesn't end there, I have to put a clean heart into my soul every day.
We need to throw away Genesis 3
Genesis chapter 3 must be removed daily.
We must move forward with words
Please look at Psalm 119:9.
You must keep the words in your heart, look at the words on the pulpit, and read at least one verse.
You will experience the history of your heart being purified.
Fourth and last, you must have a heart that loves only God.
Cleanliness means being undivided and not having two minds.
Please don't straddle the fence.
I hope you love only God.
You must not straddle the world and God.
Spiritually, this state is a state of pure heart.
This week, what you need to do is hold on to the Word and examine it.
Also, I need to know if it is possible for me to do it by my own will.
You need to know what your motive is for believing in God.
If you don't know what to hold on to, just hold on to the title of the sermon.
Is building a temple the answer? Is money the answer? Is success the answer? No.
May your true motivation this week be that of believing in Jesus, being filled and utmost satisfied with Christ, and not some other motivation.
God, please make me pure in heart.
