Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake
Matthew 5:10-12
I confess my faith: You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Hello. You are an evangelist.
You are the remnant.
It's a joy to be together.
I believe that the spiritual messages from Jesus and the spiritual messages for the people of heaven that we receive over the course of eight weeks are important messages that we must apply.
As citizens of heaven, we must live according to the gospel.
Where there is the gospel, all things are restored.
When the gospel is proclaimed and fulfilled, a history of healing takes place.
So, I hope that the body will be healed, and if there is anyone who is suffering mentally, I hope that their spirit will be healed through the gospel.
I hope you live a more evangelical life, a life as a citizen of heaven.
Last week the peacemaker, the people of this world do not have the ability to peacemaker.
You have the ability to be reconciled.
Wherever you go, you will receive the blessing of everything being broken and restored.
When you, who have the spiritual gospel, see many people through the eyes of the gospel, many things change.
We usually try to change others, but I have found that when we try to change, other things change as well.
The ocean receives a great number of minerals.
The waters of the sea flow into numerous rivers.
Based on the spiritual message that Jesus spoke, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will live a life of evangelism.
I hope that a history of gospel healing and recovery will take place.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake.
This is Jesus' final spiritual message.
This is Jesus' final spiritual message.
People of the world do not understand. It makes no sense to rejoice in being persecuted in the name of Jesus.
However, only those who are filled with Christ, the kingdom of God, and the Holy Spirit can enjoy it without any problems.
I hope that today’s service will be an evangelical service in which only Christ is imprinted.
Even if you miss everything today, you must never miss Christ.
You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Do you know what kind of confession this is?
Jesus Christ is the one who solved life's problems that could not be solved by human power.
This confession contains the following: Jesus alone is Christ, and Jesus alone is the gospel.
The meaning of this confession is different when we confess it with this important meaning and when we do not.
To get to the point, we need to understand what persecution of righteousness is.
Being persecuted for many things in life is not persecution for righteousness.
This is not persecution for righteousness' sake.
Being persecuted at work or at home is not persecution for the sake of righteousness.
Please read verses 10 and 11 of today’s text.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of Christ.
Is martyrdom the only persecution?
Is it persecution only when we are beaten and martyred for preaching Christ?
In other words, persecution for righteousness' sake is not persecution that I received because of my wrongdoings, but persecution that I received because of Christ and the gospel.
It refers to the persecution that one receives in the process of believing in Jesus.
Jesus said that just following him would result in persecution.
It speaks of the suffering and persecution that we receive for the sake of the kingdom of God.
Living as a Christian, sometimes you get treated like an idiot.
Sometimes I get bullied and I get ridiculed and insulted in all sorts of ways.
So sometimes you end up in jail.
Will you still follow Jesus?
Knowing this, Jesus told us in advance.
Jesus prophesied in advance that he would be persecuted.
What does it mean here that a servant is not greater than his master? Does this mean that a servant can remain silent while his master participates in suffering?
It is natural for an apostle to share in the sufferings of his master.
We too must be able to go to places where we are persecuted.
The path of following Jesus naturally involves suffering and persecution.
When you preach like this, the congregation hates it.
The Korean church only likes messages like, “If you believe in Jesus, you will be weak, receive power, your family will be restored, and you will be successful.”
Korean churches always show only the easy way.
The path to believing in Jesus is not always an easy one. There are also difficult paths.
When you believe in Jesus, your family may do well and your children may do well, but that is not always the case.
We are following that path.
We are on that path.
Because we know the nature of Christ.
Secondly, blessed are those who are persecuted and oppressed for righteousness' sake.
It is unfair to be persecuted, so what kind of blessing is this?
It is completely incomprehensible to the world.
Haven't you ever been asked this question? Mom and Dad, what would you say to a child who asks why he believes when he has never received an answer from God?
In the Bible, people who believed well suffered.
Paul dedicated his life to the kingdom of God, but he suffered and was persecuted until the end.
Do you believe in Jesus?
If persecution comes often and difficulties arise frequently, it means that you have a good faith in Jesus Christ.
Dear saints, please check if you are rejoicing in Jesus Christ.
You can't just take the easy way out.
You have been given the gift of heaven.
Stephen, who was stoned to death, died with the face of an angel.
Should I prepare myself from now on so that I can smile when I am martyred?
Let me ask you one question.
Is it the faith that saved you, a faith you created, or a faith that God gave you?
We may not be martyred, but God will surely give us faith at that moment.
Even if you are sleeping or cannot participate in worship, you will be able to sacrifice for the Lord.
All of this is accomplished through God's grace and faith.
I hope that grace will fill you with faith.
There are people who risked their lives not to visit the shrine.
Those who are saved will also be given the faith to overcome persecution.
I am happy because of God.
This does not mean that God's children must always be last.
We believe that we are citizens of heaven, where nothing will be a problem.
So, I hope you enjoy the kingdom of God on this earth.
May you and God continue to enjoy your presence.
I hope this brings you happiness.
May true joy, gratitude and peace be with you.
Second, rejoice and be glad, for the blessings given to those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake will be their reward in heaven.
The Apostle Paul accomplished the mission given to him admirably.
Dear saints, the reward that has come to you is the grace that you will receive in the future.
I hope that you and I will become people in whom only Christ is unchanging.
Persecution is now coming so that we cannot gather together.
I experienced it during the last corona
I came to realize how important it is to believe in Christ.
So we wisely went over everything.
At that time, everything will be transcended and avoidable along that path.
Do we believe in Christ or something else?
We must realize what is wrong before Christ.
We must emphasize only Christ.
What an honor and blessing/
We thank you for blessing us with the opportunity to participate in your precious suffering.
God's eyes are focused on the evangelist.
Paul was present when Stephen was martyred.
We believe that in the future we will become evangelists like Paul.
It will become an opportunity for an incident like Paul's to occur.
Don't stay still, you will bless our future generations.
If we met Jesus in our homes and churches while going through hardships, we don't know what blessings He would bring us.
We need to know how our descendants will grow up and become evangelists of this era.
Thirdly, we need to know which path we are taking.
The message of the Beatitudes is that blessed are the poor in spirit.
It starts in heaven and ends in heaven.
The message of this Beatitude is a spiritual message.
We believe that the goal of our lives is the kingdom of God.
We must take the path that will save 237 countries and 5,000 races.
We must save 237 countries and 5,000 ethnic groups through the work of the Holy Spirit.
I believe that we must hold on to the word and the words of evangelism and missionary work.
What does it mean to take the narrow path?
We believe in living as evangelistic disciples.
In the future, such remnants will be erected.
I believe that these words will surely come true.
I hope that the message of the Beatitudes will serve as a mirror for you.
Thank you, God.
Thank you for helping us realize how great the spiritual message you have given us over the past eight weeks is.
Thank you for helping me realize true blessings through what Jesus said.
Thank you for allowing me to break the world's standards.
Please allow the eight blessings that Jesus spoke of to come to us.
Please allow me to move forward confidently as a believer in Jesus.
In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
