말씀 녹취록
Why are you afraid?
Matthew 8:23-27
You are the remnant.
You are an evangelist.
In this hot weather, we are offering the best worship service.
When each and every one of you worships with a heart that seeks you out, with a heart that is always thankful and waiting, that worship will be the best worship.
I hope you will enter into the deep words with a fluttering heart.
A theologian says that the greatest illness of modern people is anxiety and emptiness.
Words like worry, concern, and anxiety can be understood in the same context.
It's about constant anxiety. These are useless things in our lives.
Unbelievers have turned away from God and are destined to be in emptiness, but even though they believe in Jesus and accept Him as their Lord, they easily fall into this state of unbelief, worry, and anxiety.
In today's text, we can find images of these disciples.
Jesus told his disciples to follow him.
There is a very important message in the words, “Follow me.”
This means that God takes complete responsibility for the lives of the disciples who follow me.
The words “follow me” also mean that we are taking full responsibility for our lives.
It means to decide and challenge yourself to live the life of a disciple.
It means to follow the Lord and live for the Lord.
It means that we should place our top priority on the fulfillment of the Lord's plan.
Fulfilling the Lord's will must be our top priority.
Those who have been practicing their faith for a long time will understand it quickly, but those who are new to the family will have a hard time understanding it.
It's not easy to ask someone to follow you from the beginning.
Even people who have been in the faith for a long time find it difficult to live for Jesus and not put their family first.
I, too, proclaim this word with confidence, but sometimes I have doubts.
My son has a tumor on his leg. It's so scary and unsettling.
I could see that I had too little faith.
This has also been true for me. It depends on whether you fully believe it or not.
Whether or not you believe completely determines whether or not you can live a true life.
Shouldn't we live a life of true joy?
When trouble comes, we are overcome with fear and don't know what to do.
As the title of today's message suggests, why are we so afraid and have no faith?
Even though I saw countless scenes of healing last week and experienced that all the problem solvers were right, my faith did not grow at all and did not advance.
The prophet Habakkuk asked God everything he could ask.
There were so many difficult questions in my theological life that I always asked, but the answer I received was, "Everything is lived by faith."
This means that God can please us according to our faith, and He can rebuke or praise us according to whether we have faith or not, whether it is big or small.
Dear saints, our life of faith cannot remain stagnant.
I believe that your life of faith will be one of growth every day.
Storms, winds, and tribulations always come upon us in life, but I hope that we will change our spiritual perspective each time.
I hope that you will use this opportunity to help me grow and change my spiritual eyes.
Because God is a God who makes all things work together for good.
Through today's message, we will be able to look with eyes of faith in all problems, tribulations, and storms and become more and more like Jesus.
Here's the main point. In the midst of the storm.
Let’s look at verse 24.
When he got on the boat, his disciples followed him.
When Jesus suggested crossing the Sea of Galilee, a storm suddenly came and struck them.
Isn't it the same when we believe in Jesus? Even when we simply try to believe in Him, storms can come crashing down.
Even though the world will be in turmoil, we will overcome the world.
You can expect to encounter bigger and more waves than this.
Even in this life of believing in Jesus, we must know that problems and difficulties will come.
I hope you overcome everything and overcome it.
They boarded the boat, but the waves crashed down on them like a huge typhoon. Even for the fishermen who had been fishing on the Sea of Galilee their entire lives, this was the first time they had experienced such a storm.
Just because you have a lot of experience and have accumulated a lot of knowledge, it doesn't mean you can be bold when a problem actually arises.
I didn't know what to do and was in a state of panic and fear.
In this situation, the camera focuses directly on Jesus. At this time, Jesus was sleeping.
Then Jesus said to him, 'Why are you afraid, you of little faith?'
You are not alone. I am with you. Do not be afraid. You are an evangelist and a remnant.
You need to know who you are with.
If you truly know this, you cannot be afraid.
In that situation, he rebuked them. Now we understand why he took them into a boat and dragged them out to sea.
Even Jesus probably knew a storm was coming. He also likely knew his disciples would be in a state of confusion.
It didn't make sense to me that we were driving our lives to the brink, but now I understand.
This is what He did to use me by making my small faith bigger.
God gave me a difficult moment to use me in His important work.
To those around you, the Lord wants to increase your faith.
Wouldn't it be difficult to evangelize the world with little faith?
Jesus wants to make us eagles, not sparrows.
Eagles build their nests on the edge of cliffs, and when their chicks are born, they throw them off the edge of the cliff.
Before it hits the ground, the mother eagle again intercepts the chick and repeats the process until it can fly away.
God wants us to have the faith of eagles, not the faith of sparrows.
We need to build a temple, but we must know that we cannot do it with this faith.
Dear saints, I hope you have the faith of an eagle.
Why are you scolding me? It's because I don't believe in God.
Even in the storms of our lives, God is always with us.
Please remember this: When problems and difficulties arise, remember that God is greater than any problem or difficulty.
It is more important to have faith in the problem than to be concerned about its size.
God is greater than any problem.
I hope this belief is believed.
Please believe in the faith of God, who makes all things subject to Him.
God is the Creator God, the God who created all things.
Jesus showed us how to confront the problem directly.
“Be of good courage, for I am your God.”
We often give up or lose faith so easily.
But we knew we were bigger than any problem.
I hope to live with faith in God like Jesus.
You will discover God's hidden answer behind your problems.
The problem is a blessing.
Let your problems become blessings.
Please let me see the answer hidden behind the problem.
Please hold on to your faith.
I believe that God has a clear plan.
Secondly, we only need Jesus.
The disciples were obviously extremely anxious and tried everything they could to overcome it, but when it seemed hopeless, they finally sought Jesus.
Our lives are like this. After exhausting every means and method, even the last straw, and reaching a point of no return, don't we seek Jesus?
Do you ever seek Jesus when you reach a dead end in your life?
We must remember that Jesus, the solution to all of life's problems, is with us.
We must continue to communicate and enjoy this faith in our daily lives.
You have to face problems, difficulties, and storms here.
Please find and read Isaiah 41:10.
Jesus said clearly:
The words of Jesus are the words of God.
We are always in despair or something between problems and events.
A history of calming down all storms must come before you.
I believe that this faith will be proven in the enjoyment we share together.
Jesus is the Creator God. He is the One who calms the storm.
This person is with us now.
There is no reason to be afraid in any environment.
There is no reason to fear, for the Creator God is with us.
I always blame God.
Look to Jesus Christ.
Jesus showed us true faith.
If I leave it to Jesus, amazing things, big and small, that I don't know about will happen.
I shouldn't be the master of my own life.
The master and captain of my life must be Jesus.
Because our wisdom and abilities are limited.
Jesus Christ is our captain.
It is not meant to cause me pain and hardship, but rather it is the best training ground for faith.
A pastor once wrote, "When we pray and become absorbed in prayer, we must not lose sight of Jesus. The most important thing in the life of faith is essence."
When we unconsciously emphasize what we ask for, Jesus may disappear from our prayers.
We are not saved by the words of Jesus, but by Jesus.
The problem is the inherent unbelief within us.
The problem is the strong winds of unbelief within us.
We need to make this strong wind sleep.
Fear comes from unbelief.
This week, I hope you will reflect on your life without faith and enjoy the faith that comes from believing in God.
I hope you live a life of true joy, true gratitude, and true happiness in Jesus Christ.
So, in conclusion, I want you to hold on to just three things.
First, when life's problems arise, I hope you face them with faith.
May Jesus be the captain of your life.
Our life never fails.
We hope that we will not be afraid in any storm, but only in Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I command all powers of darkness that cause me fear to leave.
Do not be afraid, but hold on to your faith.
I hope today will be a time to hear the voice of the Lord.
Thank you, God.
I praise the Lord who gave me great faith.
Thank you for training us through the storms of life.
Please bless me to become a true evangelist.
In the name of the living Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
