말씀 녹취록

I have left childish things behind.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

In all of our lives, there are things that are important and things that are less important.

There is an introduction, a body, and a conclusion.

There are things to do first and things to do later.

The Bible says, “Do not worry about what you will eat or drink.

God said that He knows what we need and that He knows all we need.

It is also found in the Third Epistle of John.

But we have priorities in our lives, and we often choose what to do first.

There is an important meeting at home, and the choice between going to church and worshipping or having the important meeting is a matter of values.

If meeting friends is more valuable, then meeting friends is more valuable.

If worship is your priority, you will decline to meet friends and come to worship.

The life of faith is no joke.

A life of faith is not a religious life.

Going to church, going to a temple, or any religious life is a burden.

If you just go to church diligently, you won't get anything out of it.

Sometimes coming to church is voluntary, but sometimes it is due to parental pressure.

Only when the Word is contained in my heart and soul, and God is contained in my soul, can I be saved by that Word and it become a milestone in my life.

Only when the Word of God is established as a watchtower within me can I live in this world and win the spiritual battle.

If life is centered solely on self and success, then we will not be able to prevent the disasters that suddenly strike us.

We cannot prevent spiritual and mental problems from suddenly coming upon us.

There are many cases where you end up regretting it later.

The most important thing when building a house is the foundation.

The foundation must be built solidly. If it is built sloppily, it may collapse when a flood or typhoon comes.

Looking at the numerous disasters that have struck Asia, if the foundation is not solid, that is, if the basics are not in place, then when the storm hits, everything will be ruined.

Religious life is not a hobby.

Religious life is not something you can do or not do.

Guys, will things turn out well if you do them roughly?

I try to brush it off, but life isn't something you can just pass over like jumping over a wall.

Can you be successful in exercising by doing it roughly?

If I play baseball, can I become a professional baseball player by just working out and preparing?

Did Son Heung-min become a world-class player by just doing some haphazard exercise?

My father taught me from a young age to move both my right and left feet, so I could use both my left and right feet freely.

Can you succeed by studying roughly?

Can you make food taste good even if you make it roughly?

No one will come to eat food made like this.

Nothing in this world can be accomplished by doing things half-heartedly.

You can't get into medical school or law school by studying roughly.

In this world, nothing can be done half-heartedly.

It's also important whether you live or die.

As a child of God, it is up to you to choose whether you will be led by God or become a slave to the devil and go to hell.

Depending on what kind of decision you make, your thoughts will make a difference.

What happens if you believe in Jesus?

Before us is death and life.

There is a way of death, and there is a way of life.

Everyone has the choice to choose life or death, heaven or hell.

The passage from death to life is what matters.

As I often say, it is through the coming of the Holy Spirit that we can call God our Father.

Don't we also have earthly fathers? But we shouldn't think of God as our earthly father.

However, God, the Creator who created all things, is Almighty.

He knows our thoughts and takes responsibility for our weaknesses and the path we take.

Who is the one who leads us to the end? That one is God.

There are times when we are thoughtless in this regard.

Children are being forced to sit by their parents.

Since my parents are now in the ministry, they should be sitting here listening to the sermon, but sometimes that doesn't happen.

The life of faith is like a taste. We need to experience this taste, but often we don't.

Because I can't taste this, I can only see the world and people that are visible right now.

The word of God must enter me and a watchtower must be built within me. If I listen to people and do well, I will be moved and so on.

No matter how well the pastor and his wife do, how much better can they do?

So, after a pastor finished, he said hello.

I was greeting someone for a long time, and the person I was greeting seemed to be smiling a little, so I smiled less.

I sometimes wonder why he smiled when he saw me, but doesn't smile when he sees me.

The things people do for us are merely physical and limited.

A watchtower must be built with the Kingdom of God and the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

When problems and tests come up, you are in an environment where you are bound to stumble.

God becomes the Creator.

God has absolute sovereignty over all things and rules over them.

He is our God and our Father.

God opened the way to salvation by sending us Jesus Christ.

He solved all our problems on the cross.

He atoned for our sins, died on the cross for three days, rose again, spoke for 40 days, and then ascended to heaven.

He said that after I go away, the Holy Spirit will come into you.

Because the Holy Spirit is in you, the Holy Spirit is in you.

God gave us this promise.

By giving these words, we are asking you to take these words to heart.

God's word must be the standard.

As I said before, you are the temple.

Even though we are weak and have nothing, we have the Holy Spirit.

There is a Holy Spirit within each and every one of us.

Wherever you are, your mission field is at hand.

God governs your life, death, and blessings.

We all die at some point.

But death is not the end, there is an afterlife.

While living on this earth, they worked hard to accumulate grain and treasure, and even became members of the National Assembly and famous entertainers. But if they only planted for the physical and not for the spiritual, they would have nothing left after death.

Why did God save you?

If you are saved, you can believe in God and go to heaven.

Our Deaconess Kang Young-ja, can you hear me? I don't know how long our grandmother will live, but is the reason she lives on this earth just to eat?

Life isn't all joy, either. There are frustrating moments, too.

How long do you have to live on this earth to be that happy?

God saves us because we have a reason to preach.

Praying for true evangelists is also helping evangelists.

It is about being dedicated to a church that believes in the gospel, cooking for evangelists, and helping them evangelize.

How much use is there in this land for even a small gift?

The things you bring in accumulate little by little.

It must be done with faith.

Believe in Jesus, but believe properly, and now you must raise this level.

As you said today, we must go beyond the level of a child.

The good thing about being childish is that if you don't act like a child, you won't go to heaven.

A young child is completely dependent on his parents.

They don't worry about each other.

A young child neither suspects nor cares that there will be no food tomorrow.

But what you have to do, you have to do if you are told to do it.

Dear friends, the fact that we are doing the work of children in today's text does not mean that our faith is always telling us what to do or not to do.

The expectation that they were like children was that although the Pharisees and the apostles were adults and religiously respected leaders, their level was that of children.

They thought that they had to keep the law, do good deeds, and follow the Talmud to be saved.

They did not know what original sin was.

They were like little children in Jesus' eyes.

Even if you are saved, become a pastor, and continue to go to church, if you do that, your level will only be that of a child.

Child level.

So, what level of faith should we have? As mature adults, we will figure it out.

I volunteer.

Many religious people in the Old Testament strictly observed the law.

The believers of the early church gave their lives.

I gave it my all.

Is your body your own?

Are your children yours?

If your child is yours, you are responsible for it.

But my children are not mine, and what you have acquired is not yours.

I have nothing.

So, if everything is God's, then we just need to know what God requires.

All you have to do is give your life for the gospel.

How do you serve it?

Just know that God is in control of everything.

Abraham had a precious son when he was 100 years old.

I had this precious son, but I didn't think of him as my own.

Abraham did exactly what God asked.

He offered up his precious son, Isaac, whom he had when he was 100 years old, on the altar, and thanks to this, Isaac received boundless blessings from God.

There is no failure in faith.

What do you want to pass on to your children?

Abraham passed the covenant on to Isaac.

In the greatest crisis, Moses was placed in a basket made of reeds and floated down the Nile River.

The results are staggering.

The Bible says that we must believe in God, serve Him with all our heart, and spend our lives in Him.

We must love God with all our lives.

Please give it a try. What happens?

When you look at what God did through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, who believed in Him, does faith seem like a joke or a hobby?

no.

The Bible clearly says:

It is in the Book of Exodus.

We must leave a spiritual legacy to our children.

Look at the children of the shamans around you. When you see them, you see idolaters, and you see their children, who will destroy three or four generations.

I hope you believe this.

So why do so many people fail in their religious life? It's not because they don't work hard enough.

How diligently do those who recite Buddhist scriptures recite them? It's not because they don't recite them diligently.

Because they enjoyed the wrong gospel.

What do you think of Jesus?

We always confess before we begin our worship that the Lord is Christ, the Son of the living God.

Many people have misconceptions about Jesus.

He did not come to this earth to practice justice.

You did not come to save the poor.

Jesus did not come to perform miracles.

Jesus is not just one of many great men.

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

This is not something that flesh and blood can make known, but something that the living God has made known.

Many pastors do not confess this and preach without knowing that Jesus is the Christ.

Jesus said that everything was accomplished on the cross.

He has already solved everything, solved all our sins, and destroyed all of Satan's work.

They do not know that the devil's work has already been completely destroyed.

What the devil does is to prevent us from worshipping God.

There are cases where people believe in Jesus as Christ, but are not able to become the only one.

Elijah, Moses, and Jesus appear.

What does this mean? Jesus, Moses, and Elijah are all equal.

But Moses disappeared, Elijah disappeared, and so did Jesus.

You guys, it's difficult if you don't become Jesus.

If I have anything to do, it must be only Jesus. It's all over.

If it's a little bit lacking, it's wrong.

There is no shortage.

There is no shortage.

So, looking at Galatians 1, who are causing you anxiety and perverting the gospel of Christ?

If we constantly look at the history of our Christianity, we see only help and struggle toward Christ.

But if angels from God preach any gospel other than the one we have heard, let them be under God's curse.

There is no other gospel.

Only Jesus is Christ.

Only Christ can give us the answer.

There is no need to be shaken.

Jesus Christ alone has solved all our problems.

Why do people fail when they go to church? In many cases, they are only nominal believers.

Many people do not know what being born again is.

Why did God establish us as pastors, church leaders, and remnants?

This should be your purpose and your motivation.

It's important.

So, if you look at John 6:15, Jesus fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread.

Then they conspired to make Jesus king.

Knowing this, Jesus went up to the mountain.

Knowing that this was the work of Satan, he avoided them and went to the mountain.

These people only knew how to eat bread and be full, and wanted to serve as kings, but if you see this and follow it, they are fake.

Do not work for perishable food, but for the word of life.

The reason why people fail in their religious life is because children are easily deceived by what others say.

Because the young son easily falls for it, they kidnap the young child.

Please don't be influenced by what people say.

I hope you will keep God's word in your hearts.

Why are you swayed by what people say?

It is the faith of a child.

If your life and your life fail, it will lead to failure for future generations.

So what is immature faith?

It is partially committed.

Please look at Galatians chapter 1.

The level of speech is childish. This is a headache.

Even if we know the gospel, if we don't become its object, problems arise. If legalistic and humanistic elements still remain within us, this is a sure path to ruin.

He told us to be witnesses to the ends of the earth as saved people.

Because he is a child.

That's why we say it's dim, like looking in a mirror.

Mirrors in the old days were dim, unlike today.

The blessing of the throne, they do not realize what evangelism is.

So the level has been lowered.

You have to try to see something.

I also hear some noises.

The Bible is the Word of God. It must be heard as the voice of God.

They all gather together and say, "Jesus will come on such and such a day, such and such a month, such and such a year."

We need to hear God's voice, but we keep trying to hear people's voices.

Then our faith must reach the stage of mature faith.

To do that, we must abandon childish things.

We must let go of the thoughts within us.

For a practical experience, 120 people experienced the Magadarakbang.

The bottom line is that maturity is only possible through Jesus, Jesus Christ, who gives the complete answer and becomes a witness.

We must enjoy God's will, not our own thoughts.

Now we must pray for world evangelization.

This should be our wish. This should be our purpose in life.

May we put off all childish things and enjoy God's plan for world evangelization, which is to rise up to maturity.

Hallelujah, thank you God.

May our faith be used to mature believers, to shed childishness, to face God, and to enjoy His absolute plan.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
