Infinite grace
Matthew 20:1-16
You are the remnant.
When we were children, we were often asked when we would mature.
Do you know when a person's weight is at its heaviest? It's when they're at their peak.
We must realize that we must become spiritually mature.
Grow up. To say you haven't grown up yet means you've developed some discernment, some power.
So, the power to judge has been created.
So, what does it mean to be spiritually mature?
It refers to a state in which spiritual discernment has been achieved.
What is spiritual discernment?
Simply put, it means putting aside my will, my plans, and my purpose and moving forward with God's will, God's plan, and God's purpose.
So, to put it simply, this is talking about the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
It speaks of the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
The parable of the vineyard that we will examine today also tells us that we should live our lives of faith not by our own standards, but by the standards of the kingdom of God.
Some of you may already know this, while others may not, but if you look closely, you will see that it contains content that is completely different from general principles.
So, it is impossible to understand it with human rational thinking.
This is only possible if you are a person with open spiritual eyes, that is, a mature person.
There is probably no parable more moving than this one.
One theologian has called the parable of the vineyard the pinnacle of all parables.
Why is that so?
Because the grace that God has bestowed upon us is so amazing.
It is called the highest peak because it shows us how great God's grace is.
Dear friends, isn't there a grace that God has bestowed upon us?
I believe that God's grace is infinite grace.
Isn't that why it's also in the hymn, "God's grace is a grace that cannot be repaid?"
I believe that the grace that God has bestowed upon us is an infinite grace without limits.
So we must not lose sight of the fact that we are beings who live in that grace.
All saints, as mature saints, I hope that you will hear through the Word the truth about the amazing grace that God has bestowed upon you, and that you will move forward in the name of the Lord.
First, we must have an absolute sense of grace.
Please look at verses 1 and 2 of the text.
There was a vineyard owner who was looking for laborers to work in his vineyard.
When I walked down the street early in the morning, there were many people looking for work.
They were people who were doing hard work, like day laborers, who came out in the morning.
At that time, these people were free, but their lives were worse than those of slaves.
Slaves will not starve to death no matter how hard their work is, but they worry about starving to death.
Living each day is their top priority.
But thankfully, I was able to work in the vineyard and get paid much more than I would normally get for my work.
How grateful I am for being able to live this day.
I came to the market at three o'clock.
At about 9:00 a.m., the owner of a vineyard came out to the market and hired people from the street to work in his vineyard.
He made it possible for all those who were playing to gather together and work in his vineyard.
When evening came, he called all the laborers and gave them their wages for the day's work.
At that time, I thought that the first worker to arrive would be given the wages first, but the last worker to arrive received the wages for the day first.
Also, everyone received the same amount of money regardless of whether they worked more or less, even if it was just for a short period of time.
The workers complained to the owner of the vineyard, saying that it was unfair that they received less pay even though they worked more.
There is a very important point in this parable.
They provide jobs to the unemployed who were living without doing anything, and they receive daily wages, but they show no gratitude at all and only complain to each other.
Please don't compare yourself to others, like the servant who came first in today's message. There is no life of faith more miserable than complaining and resenting.
Most of it comes from comparing, including not being satisfied with the present and not being grateful.
Your eyes will be opened to see that fact.
Some people will be used now, and some will be used later.
God's timetable for each of you is different.
You shouldn't complain or compare yourself at moments like this.
Please do not forget that you are God's wonderful children who have experienced God's absolute grace.
So, as a person who has received absolute grace, I hope you will be thankful for the grace God has given you.
I hope you live a life of excellence before God.
God created you as unique beings. May you receive spiritual self-esteem for this.
"I am a child of God with immense spiritual self-esteem who has experienced absolute grace."
Well, there's a biblical basis for this. Look at Ephesians 1:4.
Didn't you hear the gospel that Jesus is the Christ and have eternal life?
Isn't this absolute grace?
Is that right?
Isn't it a blessing to be able to enjoy the secrets of the Holy Trinity and the throne every day, and to stand in line for world evangelization rather than worrying about what to eat and wear?
You have come into the grace of God. It is a tremendous grace to be saved and become a child of God.
Although I was in pain, it was all by God's grace.
Even sitting here is a grace of God.
Even just speaking the gospel is a grace of God.
Biblical evangelism and church movement are also by God's grace.
I am grateful to live and dedicate my life to God's work.
Also, aren't the next generations rising up?
All of this is by the grace of God.
It is grace, it is God's grace, it is true grace.
So, secondly, what we need is an absolute sense of gratitude.
First, you must enter into a 24-hour consciousness of absolute grace. You must experience the power of absolute grace.
Please look at verses 14 and 15 of the main text.
Jesus gave a lesson to those who were complaining and grumbling.
It is important that the latecomer is given the prize without any restrictions.
We have no authority to judge.
Those who put on the clothes of salvation first are thankful to those who are saved later.
First, what does it mean to have received the grace of salvation?
There are so many things we can just let go of in normal times.
Is it true that what is for the church, what is for God, and what are the accessories for building the church?
What would the laborer who was called at 5 p.m. have been thinking? If one worked early in the morning and the other arrived at 5 p.m., would they both be paid the same amount, and yet not complain?
Originally, people who were unable to work would have been greatly enriched by the vineyard being touched by people.
I believe that this spiritual gratitude should gradually deepen and become even more wonderful.
The more you live your life of faith, the deeper this gratitude should become.
This is the biblical life of faith and the most correct life of faith.
The Apostle Paul, the greatest evangelist, lived this kind of life.
We must remember that there is so much amazing grace in Jesus Christ.
I confess that it was not by my own efforts or ability that Jesus Christ was revealed through me and that the true gospel was testified to.
What a wonderful confession this is! What a wonderful confession this is!
We can see that Paul's life was filled with an absolute sense of grace and absolute gratitude in any situation.
We cannot do without God's grace.
Without God's church,
Without the Church of God,
Jisang is about to enlist in the military. He went there with great fear and trepidation, but he will receive grace.
It becomes easier when you receive grace.
When you receive grace, everything becomes easier.
May you be blessed.
In the text, Jesus asks what is important: whether the last will be first, and what is important is whether the first will be first.
It is to make us realize that our lives are governed by our hearts and thoughts.
Everyone, you must first receive grace and be saved.
The important thing is persistence.
Our gratitude should be consistently spaced out.
I believe that I will recover, and that everyone will recover.
It is so wonderful to be surrounded by gratitude and grace.
Don't try to do anything. Don't try to work hard at anything.
We must be in grace.
In conclusion, we must live a life of absolute consciousness and absolute grace within God's Word today.
As we see in the text, he continued to search for workers until the sun went down.
When we see this, we can see that there are still so many people dying on the scene.
It makes me think that I have to save them first.
Shouldn't we repay even a little of the grace that has been bestowed upon us?
The economy is in crisis, and the exchange rate is also in crisis. Many people are saying it's difficult and challenging.
We also need grace for world evangelization.
God's plan of salvation cannot be stopped by anything we humans can do.
So we believe that we must enter into God's schedule and be fully used until the day the Lord returns.
The worst thing a person can do when he first comes to a vineyard is to think that he is entitled to something.
This creditor consciousness is wrong.
We are indebted. When we look back on our lives, we realize how grateful we are.
How grateful should we live?
We should be grateful and moved to evangelize to 237 countries and 5,000 people groups that are so precious to us.
I hope you live a life filled with the Holy Spirit that expands the kingdom of God.
Thank you, God. Thank you for helping us realize the grace you have bestowed upon us through your Word today.
Whenever I think of God's boundless grace, the grace that I cannot repay, I am filled with gratitude and glory.
Please help me live this week with absolute gratitude in this infinite grace and absolute consciousness, and make me an evangelist who can lead many souls back to God.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
