How was the early church used?
Acts 5:1-11
I will confess my faith. You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
How should one lead a life of faith correctly?
When we say that we live a life of faith, we will receive an answer.
What is the answer to the life of faith?
I believe that the fulfillment of God's word in our lives is the answer of answers.
Every week, the Word is fulfilled in our lives and becomes a subject of prayer, and after a few years, the answer comes to us.
It is holding onto the covenant and waiting for the answer to come.
Therefore, I hope you hold onto the covenant.
Those who hold the covenant will have it fulfilled.
If this does not work, you will inevitably face a trial.
If you do not see the fulfillment of the Word in your life of faith, there are so many things that cause you to be tempted.
I pray in the name of the Lord that you lead a truly righteous life of faith.
Everyone, if you embrace the Word and pray, you are within that flow; even if I continue to listen to God's Word, this becomes our imprint, our root, and our very nature.
Then, when the Word is imprinted, rooted, and internalized, it will surely come down as an answer.
There are many people in our church who came to believe in Jesus after being complete non-believers.
It seems like there are some people visiting for the first time today.
There are likely many of you who were discouraged but came here after hearing the Gospel and gaining strength.
Aren't our evangelists continuing to preach the gospel in the field?
I believe that there are those who gain strength through this gospel and exist through the gospel.
I believe there are some who have come keeping this gospel by faith.
There are people of various ethnicities, Remnants, and many other people have come.
I hope you enjoy the blessing of leading a righteous life of faith today.
I hope you realize how God's word is being fulfilled in my life.
You must verify the Word, especially when problems and difficulties arise.
We must convey the message.
Then you will come to know that God's word is being fulfilled.
We just need to hold onto and follow the Word of God in the 66 books of the Bible that we will come to know.
He gave a fundamental covenant through this Bible.
He gave the most fundamental covenant among the many covenants.
Although there are as many as 66 volumes, they are all simple and clear.
Genesis chapters 1 and 2 tell the story of how God created humans and made them special, but in chapter 3, they fell for Satan's deception regarding everything God had given them.
Afterwards, the story of the woman in Genesis 3:15 is continued in the Old Testament.
It may seem like I am telling many stories, but I am speaking the word of the Lord. Even in Exodus chapter 3, it is simply the story of the Lamb who resolved everything.
It is about talking about the various covenants of Immanuel.
He will simply send you to Christ, who led you back to God.
Now, coming to the four Gospels, here we merely provide evidence that Jesus is indeed the Christ, that Jesus came as the Christ.
So, in Matthew 16:16, Peter confesses.
Christ is the true King who defeated Satan.
Christ is the one who broke all sin and curse.
He is a true prophet who gave eternal life.
The word that combines these three is Christ.
Who is the Christ?
Jesus, who came, died, and resurrected according to the Scriptures, is indeed the Christ.
This is the very story of the four Gospels.
We have now moved on to the Book of Acts.
Now, the epistles that Jesus exchanged with his various disciples are the Book of Acts.
Therefore, if we believe in Christ as Jesus and perform these deeds in the field amidst our encounters with many people, I believe we will receive the same response.
Today's message is about how the early church was used.
Holding onto the covenant of Acts chapter 1, I am experiencing the words of chapter 2.
This is the work of the first early church, becoming one with Christ, the Kingdom of God.
If you look at today's text, a married couple appears.
The reason this couple died is said to be that they deceived the Holy Spirit.
What could this be about?
These people were high-ranking officials of the early church.
However, these people cheated with the offerings, cheated inside the church, and died.
And not just one person, but the entire couple died.
The wife died on the way back from burying her husband.
As you all know, it is the curse of double urination.
What does this mean?
We definitely need to recover our spirituality here.
There is something that you have made us realize and conveyed to us importantly.
What covenant took place earlier?
The word was fulfilled and these things happened.
God is alive. Such a Holy Spirit has come.
There was no Ananias Sapphire in such tremendous works of God and the fulfillment of His word.
I should have remained awake, being acknowledged by God in His presence, but I failed to do so.
Living a life of faith is not done for the sake of others.
The life of faith must be lived before God. God's children must certainly be awake.
And in doing so, God led us toward world evangelization.
Please enter into the fulfillment of the Word.
You must not deviate from this flow.
We must move forward toward world evangelization, but in the meantime, we may have human thoughts.
You shouldn't do that.
It is useless to think about carnal thoughts or things you cannot receive.
Aren't we living a life of faith before God? We shouldn't attend church for the sake of the pastor.
I hope you are in the flow of the fulfillment of the Word.
I hope you will be used as a covenant for world evangelization until the very end.
Therefore, because they cannot forget such things, they fall victim to Satan.
So, in the main body, I mention the importance of a single awake person.
Please look at the text.
Peter saw this.
Peter saw this because he was filled with the Holy Spirit.
That is why a spiritual state filled with the Holy Spirit is so important.
He asked why you let Satan take control of your mind.
If we do not allow it in our hearts, Satan cannot harm us.
You must not provide Satan with a pretext to cling to you.
If Satan is given a pretext, he will persistently dig into it, shake it up, and bring it down.
So, Proverbs 4:24 says to keep what is worthy of being kept.
Here, the word "protect" does not mean "to avoid" in a passive sense.
It refers to an active attitude of fighting boldly against evil spirits.
It will be done if you hold onto the Word of Life and the Word of the pulpit 24 hours a day.
You can neutralize Satan's attacks.
The desire to be acknowledged before people, rather than before God, was greater.
That blinded his eyes.
Ananias, who tried to deceive God, was eventually put to death.
Satbi, who appeared three hours later, was killed in the same way.
If even one of the spouses had been spiritually awake, this would not have happened.
A spiritually awake person.
I hope you become that one person who is spiritually awake.
If you are not spiritually awake, you will eventually fail.
I feel that the people in our church who practice their faith alone are truly amazing.
You just need to be spiritually awake.
As you lead a life of faith, you encounter various obstacles.
However, if you give them such an opening, the growth of faith is bound to stagnate.
I just need to be spiritually awake.
If I am spiritually awake, the community has no choice but to be awake.
No matter what problems or incidents arise, they do not become obstacles at all.
I just need to do the Gospel 24 hours a day.
I pray in the name of the Lord that you may enjoy this.
The most advanced ability Satan uses is changing people's thoughts.
This is because the nature of Satan is falsehood.
You just need to look at John chapter 4.
Please stay awake.
Secondly, regarding how the early church was used, the early church stood before God.
Someone, in need of money, sold their land and donated it to the church.
So, people in the church say that our Elder Barnabas is truly precious.
This is because he donated his entire fortune to the church.
They say it is truly precious and truly wonderful.
I am trying to get a little more validation and think about who I am.
It is seeking "I," "we," human or carnal things, and vain glory.
I like to pray quietly to God.
Is it really that important for the number of people to increase?
The desire to be recognized by others has entered here.
That is why the tragedy occurred.
This story is not simply about deceiving people about the offering.
You shouldn't enter with that kind of thinking.
As it grew rapidly, various types of people entered the church.
I believe that entering into this flow is the beginning of a full-fledged life of faith.
Our church is a church moving forward toward world evangelization.
It is a country advancing toward 237 nations and 5,000 ethnic groups.
How precious and grateful is it?
Therefore, we must continue to devote ourselves to evangelism and missions.
In the meantime, you just need to make sure you don't get deceived.
You just need to make sure you aren't deceived by Satan.
There are those who are ahead of us, and there are also latecomers.
I believe that everyone will enter into this flow and build up the church, the covenant community.
Thirdly, how was the early church used?
It is the work of God that even persecution cannot stop.
After the Ananias and Isaphira incident, even greater blessings came upon the early church.
Is it Hallelujah?
Many signs and wonders came through the apostles.
I believe that such an answer will come to our church.
It makes you believe more firmly.
A greater history than before is about to unfold.
At that time, the high priest puts the apostles of that group back in prison.
Even if you are imprisoned, you can pray and enjoy God.
Right now, they are trying to find any excuse to exploit the situation.
However, something surprising happened.
They were not surprised at all.
If it were us, we would have been liberated and cheered with joy just to be released from prison.
However, these apostles must rather be empowered for the name of Jesus Christ.
In the course of your religious life, you may encounter various matters, problems, or incidents.
However, as we look at the early church, I hope you hold onto the fact that this is why the early church was inevitably used by God, and move forward toward world evangelization with even greater faith and conviction.
You must persevere with single-minded devotion and wholehearted devotion to Jesus alone.
Every day, whether in the temple or elsewhere, you must teach and ensure that Jesus is the Christ.
This is the conclusion.
How did the early church have such a great experience?
This is because, holding onto the covenant and praying, he experienced the power of Acts chapter 2 and the lame man standing up.
After experiencing the amazing history that preceded me, I became able to transcend everything.
I pray in the name of the Lord that the members of Yeolbang Mission Church will become like this.
Looking at verse 5, it says that they are greatly afraid.
There may be times when we resent God or have no faith, but in the end, we must follow God.
God is able to do anything.
You must truly enjoy God.
However, there was one person in the early church who was awake.
I hope you become that kind of person.
I hope you adopt a spiritual attitude of enjoying and moving forward before God.
Heavenly Father, thank you for letting us know through your word how the early church was used.
Please let me discover the importance of one truly awake person.
May all the saints stand before God and come forward.
Please let me experience the work of God, which persecution cannot come upon.
Please make us the early church that is used by God to the greatest extent.
Please make us a mission church for the nations like the early church.
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
