Stay awake

Matthew 25:1-13

Today is a day to focus on worship.

I believe we must succeed in the worship.

It is a time of comprehensive healing where everything is healed and restored.

Please worship with a heart that longs for worship.

The Word is proclaimed during worship services.

This is a word of God's blessing for your life.

Therefore, I hope you continue to keep the worship with a longing heart and receive grace.

Perhaps the greatest words of blessing will be proclaimed to you.

We are living in the last days.

It is not the timing that matters, but the kind of life you have lived leading up to that timetable.

I hope that through today's message, you will live a life of proper discernment regarding what kind of life you should be living.

There is something that Jesus expresses repeatedly.

That is precisely what the title of the message is: to stay awake.

Jesus expressed this through various signs and parables.

Therefore, stay awake.

You and I have received the blessing of Jesus.

Everything is in the Gospel.

So you are all children of God who have received.

Because we are God's saved people, there is nothing more to receive.

Therefore, what we, living in the last days, must do is stay awake.

Please stay awake.

Jesus tells us why we must be awake through the story of the ten virgins in this passage.

First is the assurance of salvation.

He is speaking in parables about the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus said that the Kingdom of Heaven is like the ten virgins who turned their backs to meet the bridegroom.

To properly understand the text, you must know about Israel's marriage customs.

It is different from the one-sided marriage we know.

Usually, we finish everything in one day, but in Israel, it takes several weeks.

In a way, it can be seen as a wedding festival.

We usually hold weddings in the middle of the day, but in Israel, they are typically held in the evening.

Once you get married, you won't be able to spend time with friends often, so you end up spending your last moments with them during the day.

Afterwards, the groom plays all day and goes to the bride's house in the evening.

The bride waits at home with her friends for the groom, who may or may not arrive.

The ten virgins mentioned in today's text are the bridesmaids.

When the groom arrives, the lanterns are lit and the wedding ceremony begins in earnest.

As seen in today's text, there are often cases where the groom's procession is delayed.

Then, as in the text, there are times when you get tired of waiting and doze off.

They also get caught up in work.

Then, when the bridegroom comes in the middle of the night, you must light a lamp and go out to meet him.

However, a problem arose in the text.

There were five wise virgins and five foolish virgins. The five wise virgins prepared lamps and oil, but the five foolish virgins prepared only lamps.

When the bridegroom arrived, the lamps of the five wise virgins were able to be relit by changing the oil, but the five foolish virgins could not.

The lamp represents the form of faith, but the oil signifies the content of faith.

In other words, not preparing oil is like having no substance of believing in Jesus, but merely preparing the form of Jesus.

If you look at the Book of Acts, there is a story about the twelve disciples in the region of Ephesus.

These are people who served the church very diligently.

These are people who served so diligently that many people called them disciples.

They served so well and even showed devotion.

However, Paul met them and asked a question.

I mean whether you received the Holy Spirit when you believed.

They said that, far from having received the Holy Spirit, they didn't even know if the Holy Spirit existed.

Then Paul asked what sin you had received.

We said that we received John's baptism.

They had merely attended church without being saved.

Beloved saints, you can live a church life even without Jesus and the Gospel.

There are many people who attend that church because the atmosphere is good, the members are all nice, and they feel that there are many good people there.

Some churches use secular programs to gather many people.

There are also people who lead church life with a human side.

Such a person is referred to as having prepared the lamp but not the oil.

Those who have not prepared oil can never enter heaven.

A person who has only the form of godliness but lacks its substance cannot open the gates of heaven.

Many saints are losing their spiritual strength.

If salt loses its flavor, home cooking is lost.

The five foolish virgins asked the five wise virgins, who had prepared oil, to share it with them, but they coldly refused.

Just because my wife is saved does not mean I am saved.

Just because my parents were saved does not mean I am saved.

Just because my child is saved does not mean I am saved.

Salvation comes from my one-on-one relationship with God.

Have you been saved?

Have you truly met God?

Even if you are not born again, you cannot be saved at will.

I become a child of God through my own confession; the salvation of my parents or children is not my salvation. No one else can live my life for me.

I hope you will take some time today to think deeply about salvation.

What you must especially not be deceived by is the assurance of salvation.

Satan continues to deceive us.

They continue to deceive you into doubting your assurance of salvation.

Everyone, true assurance of salvation is important.

This aspect of conviction is a very important central axis regarding spiritual matters.

If the central axis shakes, everything is bound to shake.

Even though you are sitting in this worship seat today, if you lack the assurance of salvation, you will waver.

If you do not have the assurance of salvation, you will always be in conflict.

You will always agonize and struggle every time you worship.

Has anyone doubted their assurance of salvation?

Please read Romans chapter 8.

Please meditate deeply on the words of Lobas chapter 8.

May you come with the assurance of salvation.

I hope you regain this conviction.

Therefore, those who are in Christ Jesus are never condemned, because the law of the Spirit of life has freed us from the law of sin and death.

It is like having legally freed us from all our sins.

Jesus is the Christ.

He gave everything.

Jesus Christ lacks nothing. We have received everything.

Jesus, who has finished everything, is my Lord.

The first thing we need to be aware of is that we must clarify our spiritual identity.

Secondly, a life of wakefulness is the life of an evangelist.

"Truly I say to you, you do not know. Be watchful."

The foolish virgins who had not been prepared went to get oil, but the doors of the wedding feast house were already closed.

You need to know how important it is that the door is closed.

So, no matter how much I shouted for the door to be opened, it did not open.

At some point, our lives come to an end.

The end of history is coming.

The day the Lord comes to this earth will come suddenly one day.

The Master will come at an unexpected time.

Where or how you come is not such a big issue.

The important thing is that we are filled with the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

This is an awakened life.

There are many non-believers among your parents and relatives.

Please do not miss the timetable for their salvation.

I hope that we will truly become witnesses and step forward as witnesses with evidence.

Looking at 2 Corinthians chapter 2, it emphasizes this.

Behold, it is said that now is the time to receive grace, and now is the day of salvation.

The opportunity to receive grace and the opportunity for salvation are not in the future, but right now.

We must make the worship service successful right now.

We must succeed in worship now.

Therefore, you must make holding onto the word of the covenant from the pulpit your top priority in life.

We must continue to listen to the message from the pulpit and receive grace.

There are countless people who will receive salvation through us.

You must recognize the spiritual urgency.

If you miss this moment, the door will close.

So, I will give you a mission. Please take a good look at the area around your home.

In conclusion, we must stay awake as we live through the last days.

It is important to live the life of an evangelist and a life of salvation.

If we look at Revelation chapter 22, the Apostle Paul confesses as follows.

I earnestly confess that I ask the Lord to come.

The day the Lord comes is clearly set.

I hope you become a church leader who follows a pastor who follows and speaks only the Gospel, and who speaks only the Gospel.

If you always stay awake and live a life of preparation like this, the Lord is bound to come someday.

Instead of waiting in fear, you become able to wait for the Lord with gratitude and joy at any moment.

I hope you live the life of an evangelist who can welcome the Lord with a joyful heart, no matter when He comes.

Therefore, I hope you live a life of soul salvation that earns you praise from the Lord when He meets you.

Thank God.

The end times are coming.

However, we often do not know or miss the content of godliness and the important content of Jesus Christ.

God, please bless us even more today so that we who believe in Jesus Christ may be assured of our salvation, and enable us to live the life of an evangelist.

Therefore, please allow me to live the life of an evangelist who sees the timetable of salvation for them before the gates of heaven close.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
